Heard great things about this place.. Decided to give it a try. Bought a full shrimp po boy sandwich, and a cup of shrimp gumbo.... Poboy was great. This place was great! We ordered the daily special for $10.99, which came with shrimp etoufee, fried shrimp, fried okra, Texas... toast AND dessert! The portions are HUGE! We also got the gator tail and boom boom shrimp appetizers YUM!! I'm really glad Ispoke with a local that eats there often and took her suggestion!! Our waitress was super nice, also. The shrimp poor boy is huge and tasty. It will easily feed two hungry people.
Always good food, good service, and fair price. Today I had the lunch special of chicken fried steak. Smaller than dinner plate... but, that was expected. Still enough to fill me up and not weigh me down. I am a big eater as well. 1st time going there forlunch and definitely not the last. Read more
