The restaurant has nice outdoor dining with a full bar. Inside has plenty of seating and a full bar. Fans in the outdoor area... help to keep it cool and staff was friendly and attentive. We had a Big Burrito for lunch which we shared. It had nice flavorbut the added salsa made it better. Tortuga Jacks is worth a repeat visit. Read more
Love the atmosphere and the location. We went on a Wednesday night for an earlier dinner, we got a seat right away in the tiki... area and got our food very quickly. The view is beautiful and even though it was hot out it was breezy and we stayed cool. Ourserver was polite but pretty slow getting back to us and we had to wait a really long time to order then again to get our check.The food was okay. My kids are not picky and always finish their food-however here none of them finished. My teen ordered chilicheese fries and said they were the worst she has ever had, tasted like they dumped a can of chili sauce on top. My son ordersthe kids nachos with chicken and the chicken did not taste good, he said he didn?t really like them. My other teen orderednachos which were okay but really lacked on toppings so she ended up with mostly a basket of chips. My fish tacos were okay butthe greatest and my rice was dry-my husband didn?t even eat his rice. Prices were a bit high for a Mexican place especially whenwe ended up not even eating half our food. Atmosphere: 5/5 - Pet friendly-island vibes. You?re under a huge tiki, next to the beach, with live music on Friday nights. Hard... to beat. They also have an indoor area well decorated and with cold AC. Service: 5/5 - Server was friendly, very attentive andquick to bring out our food. Food: 4/5 - it was not bad, but we were not impressed. Meat was dry in my opinion. Prices areaverage for tacos/burritos at beach side (~$16) Overall: I would recommend it to a family/friend. Wife and I visited Tortuga Jack's on Jekyll for a Sunday afternoon dinner. We were seated outside quickly and our server,... Scott, was freindly and attentive. Our food came out incredibly fast! Setting outside by the ocean was very nice. The qualityif the food however was so-so at best for the price. A bit to processed and dry. The atmosphere was beach casual fun but a bitover the top with slogans and tee-shirts. Read more
Amazing shrimp and grits. Fish tacos were flavorful. Really liked the sauce. Quiet atmosphere when we went for breakfast... (outside) and a mid afternoon lunch (inside). Peach Margaritas could use some more peach flavor. Read more
Just came in after a 6hr drive here with my family and stopped in for a late lunch. Food was excellent! Kids loved it all! It?s... the perfect balance of Mexican and A bit of Americano food. Our waiter Breno was fabulous! We are 6 ?that?s not easy to juggleand he was on it! Drinks never got empty which was perfect for a thirty bunch! He did great! This is such a perfect place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. It is... definitely worth going if you want to eat outdoors and have wonderful ocean view. You will not be disappointed. This is a nicepeaceful place to eat. This is one of the you have to try once. If yo don't get food you can alway just enjoy a drink from thebar with an ocean view. Read more
