Too many employees for their service to be lacking. It's one thing to be running slow because of low staff, but they had many... people. I ordered online and it said my order would be ready at a particular time it was 20 minutes after that time, they didallow me to pick out a dessert for my wait. That's the best part I guess. I was at the McAlister's in Jeffersonville Indiana, and an older male employee (I believe he is the manager) was cussing at a... young female worker. The girl didn't look like she could be older than 15. I am not sure what was going on there, but at nopoint in time should a manager be yelling or cussing at an employee, ESPECIALLY A CHILD. I really expect better fromMcAlister's. Normally I would not leave a review like this. However, This is not the first time I have seen this man treatingthese kids this way, at this location. Keep this up and McAlister's should probably change this location to a McDonald's. Read more
My husband and I have never had such a bad experience at McCalisters. The cashier who took our order, Jailynn, was entirely rude... to us the whole night, complaining to everyone there about everything we ordered, and not willing to help me at all. My soupthat I paid an extra $3 for was served to me ice cold, and when I asked about it, they wouldn?t even offer me a replacement, butstated they could microwave it, which I was not excited about. When my husband tried to get a refill before they closed thestore, Jailynn was once again very rude to us, stating that it was 9pm, (which is wasn?t yet) and we shouldn?t be there, and shedumped the tea without giving us a refill. Other employees apologized for her, but did not offer us a solution. Overall, it wasa terrible experience, and I don?t look forward to spending another $40 on a meal that was so below average. Food is always amazing. Seems like the portion size has gotten smaller. Very nice newer location, but the same great atmosphere... and service that you come to expect. It was super busy when we got there, but the line moved guickly. We received a warm welcomeand great service at our turn. Food came quickly and very hot, fresh and well made. Will definitely be back soon. Thislocation is halfway to the older location for me. Read more
