Wish I could share pictures but I was too focused on the amazing food! We got spinach chicken enchiladas and seafood fajitas.... Both were really impressive culinary efforts. The enchiladas had a poblano sauce on top that was to die for (I?d order it againjust for that), and it was well balanced with the filling, which was the perfect amount of everything. The fajitas had supergenerous portions of crab, shrimp, and fish. There seemed to be more meat than veggies (or at least comparable amounts), whichis usually flipped in other restaurants. Oh! My! Deliciousness!!! This place was soooooooooo good!!!! First off, I was thrilled that they offered horchata!!! The drink... was HUGE!!! I talked my husband into changing his drink order and he was not disappointed either. Their portions are big aswell. I was excited because they had tamales on the menu! Mmmmm Their food tastes homemade which warms my heart. One thing Ialways judge a Mexican restaurant on is their beans and rice.... Oh yeah! They were so yummy! The service was great, therestaurant was clean and the atmosphere was inviting. We will definitely be back because I am saving room to try theirdesserts. Read more

SUPERB. The best food and inside seating in Missouri, bar none. From the moment you step in, everything about the place says... "Fresh". Having been all over México, California and the USA I can say the tortilla chips are the best I've ever had. The foodis made with pride and dedication. The inside is awesome and deserves to be flooded with people for the awesome atmosphere andincredible food. Not only are the portions huge, the prices fair and the inside clean, fresh, relaxing and just so cool to bein; but the people working at El Poblano are fast, friendly and take pride in every single minute detail. Priced above average. Nachos were fantastic!! The refried bean and rice served with my husband's meal lacked flavor. Took awhile... to get refills even though there weren't many customers there. Read more

Pretty safe to say this is the best Mexican food I?ve ever had. It is absolutely not just another run-of-the-mill Mexican joint.... (You know what I?m talking about). This is the very best Mexican restaurant in Jefferson City!!! Very close to a great favorite in KC, MO. I was back moved when I... moved here because the lack of good food/atmosphere of Mexican places to chose from. Now, since this place has opened, we areso happy and telling everyone. Be patient, they will have the best margaritas too. They are waiting on liquor license Trust me,the chips/salsa and food make up for the wait. They have great service and a beautiful place.
