Really enjoyed dinner. My wife and I were visiting Jefferson, and she made reservations for tonight. Unfortunately, she wasn't... feeling like going out. I went solo, and sat at the bar to free up our table. They were packed, likely due to it being Friday.But it could have been because extra folks were coming to see the live music act. We stopped in on our way back to Houston. Decoration and environment are neat. I give 5 stars for that. We had burgers, the... flavor was great but it could be juicier so 3.75 stars for that. BUT in overall if you are passing through Jefferson and youare hungry stop by. Read more

The ambiance is great! Cozy, intimate, live music. The shrimp and grits was great! Served with a fried green tomato slice on... top, on top of a pool of marinara sauce (which I personally didn’t like and scraped off) with jumbo shrimp. I was able to eaton this for a couple of meals the serving portion was big. I ordered their Hurricane drink…was extremely disappointed. It isno Pat O’Brien’s by far. Really enjoyed the live music as well as the cool atmosphere. Came into town late and wasn't sure anything would be open. Was... thrilled to see a few places open downtown, including this place. We'd seen it on Facebook for months now and had been wantingto try it. We went with the chicken and waffles, fish and chips and chicken marsala. We REALLY wanted to taste of the spicycheese curds so we went with them as well. They weren't overly spicy, but just enough to give it that extra kick. The waffleswere thick and cooked perfect! They even had a spicy syrup which was a nice surprise. The fish was cooked perfectly and youcould taste the Guinness in the breading, it was amazing! We might have been a little competitive with the brain teaser game atthe table, but it was definitely enjoyable! We will tell everyone about this little place. Read more

The ambiance in this place!! The giant lamps provide a soft warm glow. The barstools are heavy, huge, Comfortable behemoths. I... had some work to do so I hung out for a while. Had coffee and Black Forest cake. Then later an old-fashioned. I’ve eatenhere before and it’s tasty and they have an extensive menu. If you visit, you’ll need to use the restroom, as they have asmuch ambiance as the rest of the place. This place is on my list anytime I come to East Texas. Read more

A MUST go in Jefferson! The feel of saloon and Irish Pub makes you feel you are strolling in 1800s. Inside was pretty and... quirky. Our server was nice and quick. Food was great, toilets were clean and pretty from inside too. Yelp check in got us 10%off so it was a win that they honored. Parking is on side of the restaurant and it’s a nice walk from downtown. Cool Irish restaurant in Jefferson. The wait staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. My wife is a vegetarian and... loved the fact that they had a hidden vegetarian menu. She got the Thai chick pea salad and absolutely loved it. The portions Imight say were huge. I got the chicken fried steak and had to share a portion with my son. Read more
