We visited the Jasper area to see the elk and do some hiking. While there we ate at this little cafe a couple of times. We... thought it was very good! We enjoyed the atmosphere, loved the old soda fountain. Enjoyed reading and looking at all the oldsigns, etc. Nice place! Will be back when in town again! Read more
Food was very tasty and quite an assortment of choices. Half of us ordered menu items burgers and what not and the other half of... us did their buffet. Everyone was stuffed and satisfied. To be fair there's not a whole lot of other choices to eat from what Isaw so maybe that's why the prices were slightly higher than I expected in a small town. I love coming to Ozark Cafe whenever I can. I live like 3 hrs away but I make it a point. The service is ALWAYS the best. The... owner is very active in the service and making sure everyone has what they need. Will even waitress when needed. Plenty ofseating. Two different areas to use the potty. My favorite is the Fried Chicken. Fried to perfection. The Black and Blue burgeris delicious. Handmade in house side dishes. The fried mushrooms are better than anyone elses I?ve had so far in Arkansas. LARGEmushroom pieces. Be ready for your mouth to water from excitement. Read more
Don't let the humble appearance or small town fool you. This place has Delicious burgers! And the portion sizes are huge.... Definitely worth every penny. Amazing desserts and great service all around. We'll definitely be back. Read more
Fantastic little joint in downtown Jasper. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The place was clean and the salad bar was... pretty good too. ALL of our food came out hot and fresh. Tasted even better than it looked. The country fried steak was forktender with zero gristle. Curly fries were perfect. Had an old fashioned root beer float for dessert. Be sure to save room forsomething from their famous soda fountain and don't forget to check out the wide selection of tee shirts and stuff in the littleshop to the side. It's so good, we stayed nearby and dined here 4 times in one weekend. This place is wonderful and absolutely comforting to have... nearby when you're adventuring in the mountains or passing through. The food is fantastic and the people are friendly. Thecheese volcano burger or the pork tenderloin are both great hiking fuel. Loaded baked potatoes and a full salad bar, too.Definitely consider the chocolate soda float or the skillet brownie if you're wanting dessert. Read more
Had a fantastic meal last night at Ozark Cafe. Best Chicken Fried Steak I have had in ages! Their Blueberry Cobler a la mode was... a little slice of heaven. The service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress went the extra mile and took great care of us. Wishwe'd gotten her name. She was fantastic. Love this place and will definitely eat here again the next time we're in NWA. I cansee why they have been in business for a hundred years! This one's a keeper! Read more
