If you are in Jasper and looking for a good place to have breakfast, then this is the place to go. This place came highly... recommended by the locals and i can tell you that it is worth the visit. The food here is amazing, we went for breakfast andwere extremely satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. I have loved coming here so much I came back a second time for dinner. The staff are super friendly, genuinely good hard working... people who help make you feel at home. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries which was delicious, I loved that the frieswere homemade. With this order I had to get the honey garlic dipping sauce. So good! The second time I came here I got the fishand chips. These portions are incredible, nice and big. Worth every single penny. Overall, if you want to dine in a classyrestaurant that feels like you've stepped back in time with the ambience, great food and even better people who serve you thefood. Came out today as a contractor doing work in the facility. Even during this difficult time with the fires and being one of the... few places in town with power, the staff were beyond accommodating in getting me a room for the night as a walk in, beingavailable to take any questions I had in regards to the work I was performing and still able to maintain a friendly face eventhough they are burning out from the overload of people coming for a hot meal. Besides all of that, great party place and I?vehad nothing but great to say as a regular patron as well and not being there to conduct business! Read more
This is a great option if you are looking for a step up from a hostel. The hotel is located right in downtown. Our room was a... private room without AC and without a bathroom ( we used a shared bathroom at the end of the hall). Also, there is no elevator.The people at the counter were very nice and overall our stay was pleasant. Read more
I will start out by saying this - if you are looking for fancy, this isn?t it. This is obviously an older hotel and doesn?t have... many of the ?modern? amenities that a new hotel would have. If you read the room descriptions, this is made obvious. Now, therooms are small but if you are using them just to sleep, they provide that. There is a bar downstairs so if you are a lightsleeper, bring earplugs or book elsewhere. Our room has always been clean, staff are always friendly and the price is alwaysright. You can?t get a better locations in that this hotel is directly downtown. Read more
Positive: Great location, loved the older style. Everything was in great shape. Price was the best around. Parking in the alley... behind the hotel was nice and quiet and easy to get to and from. The restaurant in the building was ok however the help therewas great Negative: The room was nice but small would be really tight for two. The guy behind the desk was terrible, hope he'sgone, could not find my reservation even when it was right in front of him!!Even when he was being a jerk the gal next to himdid not even look up. Low price and great location. The hotel is centrally located with ample free parking. Lowest price rooms have a sink in the... room, and you share a bathroom down the hall. The bathrooms have a separate shower door inside. Rooms were clean, but stuffywith just a ceiling fan to try and circulate the air. Windows do open, but can get a little loud at night. Read more
