Our cabin (#12) was very clean, and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We found it very small though, it had just a... double bed, and it was pushed up against the wall on one side which is not ideal for two people. It was a very quiet place tosleep, which surprised us since our chalet was next to a road that was busy during the day. The windows opened and there was agood breeze flowing through the chalet, but we had to close one window over the bed because the window had to swing out over thebed to open it, and it was only a couple inches higher than the bed. We had to close it when we went to bed and the cabin washot, the pilot light in the propane furnace actually threw a lot of heat in the room even though the furnace was off. The cabinwas not big and spacious like you see in the pictures, it was very small, and you had very little elbow room in any room to movearound in. This little cabin would be ideal for just one person, or two small people that like to snuggle. The internet wasn'tgreat, so don't go there if you need to get some work done during your stay. We were hoping for something more comfortable fortwo, for the price. The grounds were very clean and well maintained, and it was fun watching the white water rafters float downthe river. I would stay there again, but I would also make sure we had a bigger, more spacious cabin. Staff was friendly, thelaundromat was great, we had no problems with checking in or out. The restaurant was very expensive, but the cabins hadkitchenettes, so we brought in our own food. There are lots of lawn chairs all over the grounds which we made good use of, greatplace to sit and read a book. Read more
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Becker's Chalets and can't wait to go back again next year. Beautiful setting, nestled in by... a wonderful river, with abundant wildlife for viewing were just a couple of the high points. The cabin we stayed in was wellequipped with everything we required for the duration of the stay. Clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant wasexcellent with outstanding service. This place was a favourite for me. I will be going back. The cabins are cozy and have all the at your need. It’s situated... right next to the Athabasca River, which is a bit fast paced so you see rafters going by at times. There’s a playground thatmy kids really enjoyed. And the restaurant—the food was delicious, generously portioned and the staff were incredible. Thechef is doing an amazing job! Thanks to all who made our stay memorable. Read more
This is a beautiful place to stay, the staffs are friendly and helpful. If you need to pick up some grocery, it is only 10 to... the Town of Jasper. We stay there for two nights and rented a gas BBQ ($5.00 per day) to cook our own steaks beside our chalet. The scenery is spectacular with the Athabasca river along the property. However, the chalet is a bit too small, if it wasanother 30-40 square feet larger, then it will be perfect. I will definitely stay there again. Read more
The process of reserving the chalet, checking in, staying, and checking out was so smooth and effortless. The kind woman who set... up our reservation on the phone was extremely helpful - she gave me recommendations of what to do in the area and told meinformation about Jasper that we implemented during our stay. Truly a wonderful experience. The cabin was quaint, clean, andquiet. It was the perfect location for everything we did in Jasper, and we can't wait to stay again. We stayed here before and when we scheduled our trip to Jasper, we only thought about staying at Becker’s Chalets. We even got... the same chalet as before. The chalets are nice and big. All what you wish for, is in there. This time the heating was a bit ofa problem. The chalet was very warm and there wasn’t any possibility to get it colder in a short time. Especially for thosewho stayed in the loft. There was a fan, but the windows was to small to get some cool wind inside. WiFi was also a littledifficult. Inside the chalet the reception was terrible. On the balcony/deck outside it was great. We had some amazing weather,so it wasn’t a problem to sit outside. We also did visit the restaurant.Food was great. A little expensive for the portionsyou get. But staff was amazing. Overall our stay was great and I think we should come back here, if we visiting Jasper againsometime. Read more
My self, my partner and 2 friends of ours went out to a lovely Dinner at the Becker’s chalet restaurant. We were greeted and... seated by the restaurant manager Melanie who was lovely. The table service from Lilian was excellent and she was able to easilynavigate the menu for us. Answering any and all questions we had. The food was excellent. I am a vegetarian, while my party isnot, so I can say there is really so much variety for everyone. Our compliments to chef Jorge, as the food was delicious.Definitely a superb fine dinning experience. We will gladly be back, and would recommend. Read more
I arrived at 11:30pm, after delayed flights and NO luggage. I had let them know I would be late arriving, so they left a map on... the office door, and the key to my cabin. It was such a pleasure to finally arrive after a long travel day and see and hear theriver just beyond my cabin. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. It had everything I needed in the kitchen, and I wasable to buy toothpaste and bug spray in the small gift shop. Although I was out hiking and exploring during the day, it waswonderful to come back and sit in the Adirondack chair and watch/listen to the river. The location was perfect for exploringJasper and the northern end of the Icefields Parkway. I wished I had more than just 2 night, and I would definitely go backthere again!
