The most unprofessional management I have ever worked for. The store manager plays favorites badly and is the rudest person I've... ever met. The assistant manager is lazy and a liar. He does not care about who he manages. They have been and are running thatstore into the ground. I love Lowes as a company until they stuck me in that store to run their deli. What a horrible place tobe employed. I can't stress enough how horrible the store manager is and co manager. What horrible people to be running a store.Beware of shopping here. The employees are miserable but scared to say anything bc of retaliation from the store manager . Thecompany continues to let this man ruin peoples views of Lowes and it is sad. I hope the president of lowes is made aware of thehorrible store he has in Jamestown . Read more
Never again!! Long story short, I order lowes food to go (pick up) because I detest food shopping. It?s not that hard, here?s... what I want, substitutions are ok!! Three weeks ago I order I get $60 in meat, that was someone else?s order, I could keep it,but karma (you know). So I call the store, I felt like I was bothering them!!! Really?? Last week I order, I?m told there?s nochicken or steak and the butcher won?t have any!! Ok?? Everything else is good! Please leave.a survey (don?t ask if you want thetruth), there are 3 other items that I was NOT told were out of stock. Get a call, give me a $25 credit to order again. Firsttime shame on you, second time shame on me!!! Got a call, the steak I ordered was not available, ok it?s fine, substitute it!!Ok! Bring home the food, no steak!!! SMH!!! Never again!!! Offer me everything, still no!!! Some people may think, it?s not thatmuch of an issue. True!! But I meal plan my dinners, I put a lot of work into it! Maybe it?s. a petty thing, but how manychances to you get it right?? Read more
Tonight I came in for some late night cold cuts and I wasn't waiting very long but I did notice I was waiting on the person to... finish being on their phone. They didn't have what I normally go in there for and that was okay. I decided I was going to trysomething new to the family but not new to me. I don't expect an upbeat personality but I do expect common courtesy. I requestedthat she changed her gloves because she had just touched the freezer door where she came from, her phone etc.. the meat Irequested she slammed down on the table that wasn't cleaned and wasn't placed on the rapper it just came out of. Just thrownthere on the table.. So I said it's okay forget it and I walked away. This isn't the first time that I met with frustration ofsome kind upon request of glove changes and it's not the first time that I see mishandling with the meat in this section. When Igo to Publix I noticed a significant difference in the smell of the meat as well.. my local Lowe's always gives me foul smellingturkey and when I travel a little further to my local Publix I took notice it doesn't smell the same.. I try to bringrationality to it like maybe this is the way it's supposed to smell but as I'm writing this it's just a careless staff. I wasshocked to see the way she just threw food open like that on the table that wasn't even clean. I guess I'm going to have to takemy business elsewhere because it's not worth the hassle. I asked for management and a young man tells me okay he comes back andthen tells me he's management.. I told him they normally come in a different color shirt and he looks at me wide-eyed and saysI'm management I said okay never mind thank you though. Read more

To Lowes Food Management: I think you guys should be ashamed of the high prices you are charging your customers and the entire... chain needs to change its name to High Foods. I normally come in for a few ends and odd items. But I had to do a double takewhen I seen that a standard size of Doritos is basically $6.00. The food industry made millions during Covid because all peoplecould do was stay home and mainly by grocery. I know you guys are going to say supply chain management issues which no onebelieves because most stores show full shelves of products. This is for all stores that are charging ridiculous prices andstarving average working-class people. I would say you should be ashamed of yourself and your vendors, but I know you are not.Someone just went into their excel forecasting sheet to determine how much money they could gain by sky rocketing prices toincrease their button line to the corporate cronies.
