One has to have a real appreciation for West Indian cuisine and to be more specific Jamaican. I had a small curry goat and... I specifically asked for a special side dish of salad and cucumber. I made sure I walked to and from the restaurant so as towork up a strong appetite and I was not disappointed. I'm hoping to return with 168 hrs and I'm hoping that they'll have eitherred peas soup or stew peas or even better, Saturday beef soup. Now that is a fare I'll walk for with great delight. Read more
VERY OVER PRICED! I paid $18.00 For a small plate with curry shrimp and cabbage. NO rice, no plantains. When I asked for 1... spoonful of rice I was told they couldn't do that, with a sarcastic laugh. I said I'd pay the difference, and he said it doesntwork like that. I normally eat here all the time the food is good. In recent times they've been raising the prices too high. Customer service... sucks I had a woman who argued with me over the fact that she didn't understand what I was saying. I speak English and I am anative English speaker. I said I wanted jerk chicken she gave me stew chicken and she argued back-and-forth with me telling me.I don't understand English or know what I want. They don?t make real rice and peas, seems like it comes from a can peas. The jerk chicken seems like bake chicken with jerk... sauce. The curry goat is good. Fry chicken is ok at best. Fruit cake are old and dry. The staff are not friendly. And theychange staff often. Read more
