We flew in from St. Louis, MO to Ponte Verde for a conference. We found Beachside Seafood restaurant on Google maps and decided... to try it because of the reviews. Listen. It did not disappoint! I had the fried shrimp basket, and my husband had the basketwith blackened shrimp, calamari, and gator tail. It was ALL SO GOOD! Brittany was our waitress and she was so sweet andattentive - absolutely loved her, and she made our experience just that much better. If we visit JAX again, we will definitelybe back! Read more

This place sells fresh seafood and cooked food. The staff is always friendly. Food is hot and fast. The best seafood burrito ... ever real crabmeat shrimp and scallops just busting out of the wrap. If you love seafood you must try this burrito. They havea scorpion pepper sauce is great. Read more

GOTTA HAVE THE SHRIMP PO BOY!! Unfortunately it was so good I ate it before I could take a picture!!! Use the remoulade in it -... so good. It?s huge, with lots of shrimp, and difficult to eat it?s so big. Be ready with lots of napkins - you?ll need them. Also had the corn nuggets - first time I?ve ever seen powdered sugar on corn nuggets but it added a nice flavor. Restaurant isupstairs and air conditioned - it appears from the outside to just be screened. Staff was great and gave good advice on themenu. Have been here before and certainly will be back again. One of our favorite places to stop and have great Seafood. This place is consistent. I will post some pictures zoom in and you... can see how like the breading is and how perfectly cooked. I had the shrimp and grouper fingers. It was season excellent, crispyand non-greasy! My wife had the fish and she was very pleased. I've heard from many people that they have a Philly sandwich thatis out of this world. I just can't bring myself not to order Seafood. Because I know it will be good every time. Read more

Definitely wanted to get some seafood during my visit. This place had good reviews and was conveniently close. I went after the... lunch rush so the place was fairly empty. I headed upstairs and was greeted quickly and politely. I was seated and handed amenu. I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, did my research. I got the crab cake appetizer and steamed snow crablegs. All of which was very tasty. Wish I would have changed out a couple of my sides, would have made it that much better. Theprices were a bit steep, understanding I am at the beach. But, it?s also off season. I?d definitely recommend this restaurant.Though I?m sure there are plenty of other seafood options in the area.
