Food was good, kind of disappointed in the toppings portion of the menu. Not that I think hash browns need toppings just thought... it was a thing here. I Mean they have chili ????? which isn't the best option for a breakfast. Read more
My friend ordered 2 eggs over medium and one was over well and one was over hard! We told the waitress and she asked (from... across the room) "are those eggs cooked too much for you?" There was no yolk left they were so overcooked! I ordered a phillycheese steak sandwich and the bread was burnt and the steak and onions were too! The waitress said it was a new cook and themanager was helping him! The manager came to our table and apologized and he said he burned eggs 3 times and he thinks it is thepan's fault! I told him it wasn't the pan. It was how high he had the heat UNDER the pan! They gave us 50% off, but the food wasawful and the tables were greasy and dirty..... I would not recommend the waffle house near hwy 258. It's always dirty and thewaitresses are hard to get ahold of for such a small place it shouldn't be that difficult to get your waitresses attention. I have came to this waffle house a lot over the past two years and last night was the first time that I sat down and I wasn?t... even acknowledged for almost 20 minutes. But on top of that the people that came in behind me and the person I was getting foodwith were. Many times I?ve visited this exact waffle house with my other friends who do not eat pork and today one of us wasallergic to pork. The previous cook always did a quick light scraping clean with water on the grill before putting down ourmeat. But we took into account but maybe that was not common practice & even though he was doing that for multiple people itmay have been something that he just chose to do. So I stood up to ask our waiter if she could ask him if you could do that forus. If not we were going to ask for them to remove our meat from our order. But another waitress cut me off while I was speakingand told him he had to clean the entire grill. He was obviously very exhausted and tired and let it be known that it wasinconvenient for him. Totally understandable if I was asking him to stop cooking and clean the whole grill. But those words didnot come out of my mouth and I really did not appreciate the server who spoke over me and cut me off midsentence not saying ?ohsorry I must?ve got what they were trying to say messed up? When I said I didn?t ask for that. ?and said did not say anythingwhen her coworker walked up to me and started trying to condescendingly explain to me how a grill works. I understand highstress situation. High stress job. But this left a nasty taste in my mouth and the food wasn?t even good :/ I understand theyare severely understaffed. But it?s not like the waffle house was full to the brim when we were having this conversation. Therewas probably only 12 people sitting down in this waffle house at the time. Food is good, but each time I've gone here, I ordered 2 different breakfast sandwiches. And both times, they've messed up my... order. 1st time was great food and service. 2nd it was ok. 3rd time , coffee was old. Burned toast, bacon way overcooked. Place was a... little dirty. Food was bad and service ok. Today coffee old again, girl took 10 minutes to even come to table. Food was better,only thing over cooked was hashbrowns it was more like tiny potatoe chips. They should be more careful about fridge, they leftopen for 20 minutes to put lettuce back in. Careless and food poisoning issues. Read more

Great employees!! Food was great and the employees were alot engaging with us and alot of fun. Great to see employee smiling.... Had thr All American breakfast and everyone was cooked correct and came quick to our table. Read more
