I had the pleasure of listening to the cook complain for 45 minutes about being short staffed while she screwed up my simple to... go order. No dine in. They called for help, but whoever they called declined. Poorly handled and the owner needs to help andequip the staff anout how to deal with adversity. It?s Waffle House, but my money is my money. We had the pleasure of being served by a server who was training a new server. A few mistakes were made but nothing that took... away from our experience there. The new server was able to learn from her mistakes to become a good to the team. We wereactually there at a time, that they were not busy, they were steady but not busy. The food was really good. It was servedexactly how it was ordered. The store manager was there, I witnessed something I have never witnessed before. Most managers dovery little physical labor, they usually hide in their office pretending to be doing some kind of paperwork, they normally barkorders and speak to employees in a way that is demeaning, like they are better. This manager was different. He spoke to everyonewith respect. He was out there helping where he could fixing drinks, making coffee, cooking and talking with customers. He spoketo the employees as if they were co-workers, a team instead of a dictator. I can see why the employees there are happy. Read more

Our waitress was very personable and the food came very quickly. The cook even made us a second waffle (no charge) because he... thought the first one was over cooked on one side.
