The barbecue sucks as they have too much vinegar in it. The fried chicken is great but too greasy for me. I love their iced tea... it's perfect this service is great and the people are friendly. Just don't eat the barbecue. Read more
I got the chicken tenders plate with fries & tea. When I tell you that's no chicken tender they give, it's like half a chicken... breast each strip. They was huge and tasted so good. I definitely will be back to eat them again. The fries are good & tea madejust right. Read more

Stopped by Smithfield's BBQ and Chicken. I had the BBQ chicken platter with baked beans, brunswick stew and hushpuppies which I... thoroughly enjoyed. The sweet tea was refreshing. The BBQ sauce was tangy and delicious with quite a strong vinegar flavor.Maybe a bit much for some folks but I liked it. The hushpuppies were nice and crisp but not too dry. The baked beans were greatand the brunswick stew is always a go to favorite of mine. I'd definitely recommend Smithfield's for dine in or carry out. I have passed this Smithfield?s numerous times and just hadn?t stopped. I had another Smithfield?s another time and it was good... but I just never went back. Today has made me want to come back soon! I got a bbq and chicken combination plate and it wasdelicious! The BBQ was so good without any additional sauce and the chicken was cooked to perfection. For those who say thisfood has no taste-you are so wrong! And the service was wonderful. Food came out as we found our seats! Definitely 5 stars and Iwill come back this time! I started eating before taking a picture and it was so good I had to stop to take the picture (therewas a lot more BBQ before I clicked). Read more

This place doesn't disappoint. They are friendly, and the pulled pork is good. We liked the fried chicken as well. It had a nice... crispy coating and the inside was moist. I always liked the idea of having a sink to rinse your hands right at the front. Atfirst I thought it was weird, but after regular napkins don't get all of the chicken juice and hush puppy butter off, it makes alot of sense. Read more
