Friendliest restaurant in town. I love the food. But am disappointed that they had moved and left no notices on the old property... to notify customers where they had moved to. I went to their old location (Tuesday 27 Sept 2022) and was stunned to find theyhad closed. There were no signs indicating their new location. Yes, I know now that they have moved next door. And it seemslogical that a customer would easily see their new location. However, when you pull into their old parking lot (by yourself andshocked at their closing) you're focused on looking at their old building looking for signs that indicate what's going on. I sawnothing except a small pile of dirt near the old drive thru window. Once I passed the old building, my focus was on merging intotraffic and not looking at surrounding buildings. I left there assuming Covid had an impact on their closing or that there was aplumbing issue based on the dirt pile. I ended up eating elsewhere. Read more

Took a scenic drive through Eastern NC to visit on the day they opened their newly built location which sits right next to the... old restaurant. Enjoyed a large platter of Eastern NC chopped Bar-B-Q pork, baked beans and Brunswick stew. While we ate, I wasable to take advantage of one the eight 250kw Tesla superchargers located in the southeastern corner of the parking lot, behindthe restaurant. Read more
