So, this was a good and bad kinda experience. When we first arrived the food was all old and dried out. But it was also pretty... empty. As more diners started coming in the pumped out food quickly and I will have to say it more than made up for our initialexperience. The black pepper chicken is by far the best I've ever had. Food was hot and not old. Wasn?t busy there which always makes me nervous. Definitely different than it used to be but I mean... the food was good and they did have the hibachi option as well. I wish they would bring back sushi. Service was good consideringthey weren?t busy at the time we went. Also this is 24 hours after I was there and I haven?t got sick or anything so that?s aplus as well. Read more

Sadly Mai Tai has dramatically declined since reopening for dine in. We have had many great take out meals from here over the... years, but I guess inflation has gotten them. The prices are up a bit (understandable), but unfortunately the quality andquantity is much diminished. They once and recently, had the best egg rolls, now they are about1/3 smaller and mainly the friedwrapper with not much inside. The once great fried rice, now looks like some kind of yellow rice with none of the wonderful stuff fried up in it. Just a few onions. The shrimps in the shrimp offerings were once large and plentiful, now they are verytiny and few. The beef with broccoli was mainly broccoli, I will say the broccoli was very good though. The portions that wereonce amazing are now about a third the size. The nice platter boxes are gone, now replaced by the small white boxes as seen inmost Chinese takeout places. This once outstanding place is now barely mediocre. Please return to your former quality even at agreater increase in price. We have gotten take out here for the last 20 years, so it was so sad seeing this today. It makes mewonder if management has changed? Read more

Went there today for the first time, it?s different from other buffets since you have to pay first and you can choose to sit... anywhere. I saw a picture before coming here that claimed to be the best buffet in town but I don?t think so. It?s mediocre. Thechicken meat is very dry or mushy. The pork dumplings or any other pork dish had weird taste in it. They have hibachi and it iscool since you get to watch and pick what?s going to be on your hibachi. There isn?t any sushi much to my dismay, maybe it?savailable during the dinner? Not sure. I think the plates weren?t very clean since I had to rub something off. I ended upgetting food poisoning after and we will most likely not be back because of it. The reason why I gave 2 stars because the peoplewere very friendly and we had a good service. The water they served it very clean and filtered too so I?d give them that. Read more

The whole reason we came was because Google said they offer hibachi and sushi. Neither were available to us. Waitress was not... attentive. 8 of us at a table and 1 glass got refilled 1 time the entire time we were here. No used plates were cleared from thetable. I cant say empty because most of the food was not good so no one cleared a plate. Food on bar was mostly empty and hardlike it had been sitting forever. Read more

Finally reopened sort of. Definitely a work in progress but I enjoyed it and it is cleaner now than it was prior to the... extended closing. They understand the need for improvement and actual advertise it as a soft opening. Will return andhopefully they are running on all cylinders when I do. Read more
