I was so excited to dine at this restaurant and leave a review on my YouTube channel. The menu showed great vegan options and is... listed as open Friday 10am-8pm but when we arrived it was closed. It's valentines and my man tried to surprise me with reservations and support black business. Although the staff were very... kind.... we sat and waited 2 1/2 almost 3 hrs for the food. We spoke to staff multiple times during this wait and kept gettingthe run around . We didn't want to just leave because he already paid for it a week in advance. Today was my second time eating at Josephine's. Love the food. I have dietary needs that they cater to and I cannot say enough... about how the meal I had today was very pleasing to the pallet. I had the grilled veggies, when the young lady taking my orderasked if I would like some sauce I ask for her suggestion. She recommended the curry sauce. She put it on the side just in caseI did not like the mix. I can say without a doubt the sauce added to an already great meal. The chef did an excellent job withgrilling the veggies, not to mushy but not to firm. This meal comes with a choice of rice and peas or mashed potatoes. I chosethe mashed potatoes which were very creamy and fresh. The first time I ate at Josephine's I had the grilled veggie burger butno bun. This too was a great meal. If Josephine's keeps this up this will become one of those restaurants that people drivefor miles to try. Highly Recommended!! Read more
