I've been to all Whit's locations Blanding, Mandarin, Atlantic, Jax Beach, Avondale, St Augustine. All locations have great... young ladies working there and all locations are a 5 in my book of reviews. Today we visited South Jax location and may I say Iwas disappointed at the presentation of the custard. The young lady was so careless at mixing the custard it got all over herhands and all over the cup. She did wash her hands before trying to clean the cup with her hand to wipe it clean, then wiping itwith the pink cloth and finally putting a second cup over it to keep it from spilling. But by that time I was disappointed.Needless to say I dumped it out. It's amazing comfort food and amazing locations Let's just say today was not a good custardday and leave it at that. Read more

My go to place for frozen custard. This location is usually busy but the staff is very accommodating and efficient.

The ONLY place I go for cakes! Ice cream, smice cream lol this is so much better. This is the chocolate strawberry. I've also... had the saw cake but with chocolate cherry (yum) the other is a caramel with I think Heath bar? If you love ice cream, than Whit's is a place you have to try. Whit's actually serves frozen custard, which is an incredibly... creamy variation of ice cream. It only comes in two main flavors, chocolate and vanilla, but they also have a flavor or the dayand a large variety of toppings. Ice cream is also available in their freezer in containers, but I highly recommended coming infor a fresh serving, you won't be sorry. My personal favorite is the Hawaiian Luau, which is vanilla custard with bananas,coconut, pineapple and macadamia nuts. Highly recommended! Read more
