Its Waffle House. Its good, but some of the servers blow. Tried to make the waiters night by tipping him 20$ on a $50 bill &... didnt even get a smile or thanks. Not that I was doing it to receive any praise or anything... But a smile would of been nice isall.... They can just be REAL rude. Read more
The service at this location was so slow, that their signature item, The Waffle, ordered at the beginning of the visit, didn't... get brought until all party members had finished their meals and we're paying their bills. And even with forgetting the orderitem entirely, until I was in line to pay, it had been added it to the bill, which I had to request to remove, since it was toolate to enjoy, when your party is leaving. First experience at a Waffle House and it did not disappoint. Hot and fresh food served up fast when they were down an employee... when I came in. I love good service and I got some great service with a side of hustle. Definitely shall be returning toexplore more of the menu and get the refreshing service of someone who cares. You just don't get that much anymore no matterwhere you go! Read more
RED on the grill did amazing. Truly the BEST waffle house meal I've had in LIFE ! The guy that came in before is also said the... same ! No joke. So good. Tip Cash. Lol I can't say enough how yummy and satisfied this meal was. And fully sober... And I'mglad to remember it. Read more
Jax may not be like New York (the city that never sleeps), but having 24hr convenience at Waffle House really comes in handy for... late night munchies (in our case, after a show downtown). Especially considering how hard the food service industry has beenimpacted by Covid! You certainly cannot consider WH for fine-dining, but for comfort food it does fine. It's like an equivalentto a "Greasy Spoon" cafe in London, but even those don't open 24 hours a day. The 4 stars is for post-midnight dining ...I can'tsay I'd go to WH during the day when other local choices are open. Read more
STILL a repeat customer. . . . The staff is friendly. Waiter is great and service is fast. Food is delicious, the coffee just... right and the cooks do a GREAT job. Whether it's early in the day or at night, we have had a good experience each time. Read more
What I really like about Waffle house is the ability to see your dish being prepared. It's got a small town feel, and employees... and customers all act like neighbors with pleasant greetings and small talk. Food, of course is delicious. I subtracted a starfor cleanliness. Counter wasn't cleaned where I sat, "To Go" sign was dirty and some of the napkin holders had visiblecorrosion. Small things, but I try to give honest reviews. Having said that, I will definitely be returning. The service wasgreat and the head cook kept his stations neat at all times. Read more
Went on. Sunday, very busy, as expected, but compared to other locations I have visited at the same time, this place was dirty.... At one point an egg from the basket above the cook line, was broken. Nobody noticed the raw egg dripping onto the food platesbeneath. I alerted our server, but it wasn't addressed for a few minutes. Raw egg all over the floor, dirty towels the cookswere wiping their hands and the fry pans with. I wo t be back to this location. Read more
