This place has tons of breakfast items from ???? pancakes to ???? french toast. It was quite busy around 9am-10am and so I... wasn't surprised by the wait. But after 30 minutes it seemed a bit long for what we received. I wanted to like the food, thepeople were friendly but everything else just was below average. The French toast had no flavor (it looked pretty, though thestrawberries were sour), the eggs were plain (which I guess is normal, ha), the hash browns really weren't any different fromother restaurants like Denny's, and the sausages reminded me of high school. The pancakes were good but if I'm honest I likedthe ihop pancakes from a couple weeks ago-a little more. I want to see places like these shine but I was just disappointed withthe flavor. Read more
Went once again with my mini and me we got our food to go just in case it rained...luckily we did although its a cute and big... cafe.it did pour. Anyway we got biscuits and gravy.club sandwhich. And a tuna sandwhich with fruit and chips on the side. Theywere super fast and good priced. The biscuits are homemade and nice and soft and buttery. The gravy had good amount a lot ofsausage a lil salty but yummy. The tuna was very good refreshing and the bread and lettuce and tomatoes all great quality theclub could've used more mayo and more meat but otherwise all yummy we will be back for sure. I ordered through DoorDash only to find that they were over priced (not including the DD increased pricing) for being so under... portioned. I paid way too much for the small portion that I received. Also, my eggs weren't cooked properly, there wasabsolutely NO runny yoke for the Eggs Benedict and the side order of salmon was a 2 1/2 inch square and WAY OVER COOKED!!!! I am happy I found this breakfast restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff. You order at the counter and they bring your... food, drinks are self service. Here is what I got for $11.00 two poached eggs, hash brown, bagel and coffee. The cook did a goodjob on the eggs and did not burn the hash brown. The bagel was toasted just enough, they served it with butter and cream cheese.The coffee was hot and fresh. The restaurant is big but it was not crowded. Not bad. Not great. Nice ambiance. Very clean. Not crowded on Saturday @ 9am. Masks worn by most staff if concerned. Music was... the best part of the experience here. All older classic hit music. As far as the food goes... Got the biscuits and gravy. Tastedokay. Kinda average like a prepackaged taste rather than fresh. Country sausage was just a standard round, over-sized sausagepatty. Lots of bland tastes. Nothing to get overly crazy about. Scrambled eggs cooked thoroughly and flat rather than fluffy.Hash browns done nicely.. seems like they flattened everything to make it look like more on your plate. Toast was over-sized,very nice. No sour-dough option. Just a squeeze high on pricing for what you get. $24 with tip for everything mentionedincluding a bottle of orange juice and really old decaf coffee. Went here for lunch yesterday and decided to have the Village Club and Bread Pudding. The Village Club was very good and the... Bread Pudding was very delicious and they serve ot warm too. Will return here again. Read more
