Their sushi is pretty good and the restaurant is decorated real nice and the sushi chef who brought out my food and the female... server were friendly and nice. The male host/server needs to be a lot more friendly and attentive though. I came in and hedidn?t speak to me and he rudely waved his hand at me for me to go seat myself without speaking to me and he didn?t seat me andthe restaurant is NOT a restaurant where you seat yourself. He was supposed to seat me. And I smiled at him several times and hedidn?t once smile back and he only came and asked me once near the end of my meal if I needed anything and he overall justdidn?t have a good attitude. Wasn't expecting an amazing experience here with the generic name and such, but it blew my expectations away. I ordered a Spicy... Crab Roll, and Spicy Shrimp Roll, and both were so awesome. Along with it came a Drink, Miso Soup (I think this and my drinkcame with it simply because I sat and ate), and I requested some Spicy Mayo (provided free). The meal was a total of 14.47, andthe customer service was excellent. I will be coming here again before I move back to Pensacola, and if you're looking for somesushi in Jacksonville, GO HERE!!! Tonight myself, and 4 co-workers went to Sushi Q?s restaurant at 5010 Gate Pkwy in Jacksonville?s Southside for dinner. It... wasn?t our 1st time going there, we?ve actually been there numerous times because the food has always been pretty good. HoweverI have always sort of disliked going because the one young Asian guy that always seats and waits on everyone has a really badattitude. I go because my co-workers like eating there, even though they feel the same way about the server, so we?ve alwaystolerated him. Well, tonight there were five of us and three of us are pretty big guys. When we walked in that same serverwalked up watching us walk in, I said that there were five of us and he totally ignored me, wouldn?t even look at me. I told himtwo more times there were five of us and he continued to ignore and not even acknowledge that I was there. He started walking toa booth and I asked him if we could have a table (like I said three of us are pretty big), he pointed to the booth again and Isaid ?we can?t sit at a table? and he said ?NO?. There was only one other booth occupied in the whole restaurant, there wasabsolutely no reason a table wouldn?t have been available, they were all empty, and all in the same seating area. Like I said,every time we go this guy is rude. We all turned around and walked out saying we will never go back. Like I said, the food is okbut the service is the worst, this server must obviously be the owner?s son or something because I?m sure he?s cost therestaurant customers. Ordered the two meat Hibachi & Sushi Lunch. Paid $14 for Steak and Shrimp Hibachi and $10.95 for two rolls of Sushi (plus tax... and tip) which equalled $32. I had more pieces of ???? in my two rolls than meat in my Hibachi. There was more vegetables thanrice and meat combined! Will NEVER go there again! Read more
Wow! We were actually surprised with this place. We showed up on a Saturday during what we thought would be a dinner rush and it... was empty. We were worried that the lack of customers meant it wouldn?t be good. I am not sure why it was empty but the food wasamazing. The sushi was well prepared and everything looked to be great quality. The pricing here was also on point. I wish therewas a place like this near me. We will be back again the next time we visit Deerwood. Read more

This was my first time at this location. The food was absolutely delicious. The only reason that I would not give this location... a 5 is because our server was not invested in being a server. He disappeared and multiple times the young lady, who had her owntables, saw us sitting and came to tend to us. Everyone was polite and the food came quick. The facility is has nice decor aswell. I would definitely come back here when I return to Jacksonville, FL. Read more
The food was great and the prices were reasonable. I read the reviews before going and was a little excited to meet the "rude... server" that people mention in the comments. Turns out he's really not bad. Maybe he doesn't like rude customers. In any case,this place is worth patronizing. I'd go back. Read more
