ALWAYS double check your orders and their charges. I ordered for lunch special menu @ the front desk. Guy punched in the order... and said $46, so I asked for the receipt. I questioned the charges. Came in to a very welcoming atmosphere. They gave me a complimentary sushi roll when I sat down along with soup and the most... refreshing salad. I got the 3 sushi role lunch special and it was amazing very fresh fish used in the rolls. They kept the drinkrefills coming as well which was nice. Outstanding Experience. The place was busy, yet the service was phenomenal! We were greeted by a pleasant, courteous staff... with "smiles" on their shirts, and smiles under their masks. The dining area was very clean, as was the Men's room (I am a bigfan of washing my hands before I eat!). Shortly after we sat down our server arrived, took our drink orders, then quicklybrought us a clear soup (similar to the soup found at most Japanese Steakhouses), however this may be the best I have had. Iwas surprised to learn that the lunch specials are available on the weekend as well. I had the sashimi and sushi combo. Thesushi was very fresh, and very good. It was the presentation that was really beyond impressive. A true work of art. I amposting a picture as well. It looks great in the picture, but the size and attention to detail is simply amazing. I know fromthe outside it is just another door in a strip mall, but this place is a definite surprise on the inside. If you like sushi,and have the opportunity, definitely check this place out! A free roll to start as appetizer. I've been twice and enjoyed the experience both times. Staff are friendly and swift to see... that you have everything that you need. Food was a great meal for a quick lunch. It's not the most fancy and not the absolutebest I've tasted before, but definitely worth a visit! Read more

This is the 3rd time we gave been here since we moved to Jax and our first review of Sushi Bear. Their Sushi is very fresh and... the Hibachi is very good as well.
