Had to have a limeade!! I get a giant with no ice and pop in my fridge. Need to buy their gallon ... seriously! The fries are... great when fresh, the breakfast pitas are to die for!! Dont always get what you ask for like NO ICE in my drink or small thingsleft out of bag, so check. Hamburgers are average. Worth a breakfast stop FOR SURE! Read more
Haven't been here for 5 years so we decided to go. They still have drive thru. They use grub hub as well I noticed. The... atmosphere was good but noticed the dining area tables really needed to be cleaned & wiped down a bit. Friendly staff thoughsomewhat distant. Give it a 3 1/2 stars if I could. Used to be a nice restaurant style, waitress/waiter seats you at table. Nowit is more like a Freddy's & Five Guys where you order first (on kiosk) then go get fountains drinks, grab any seat and wait foryour name or order number to be called. The seats seem worn down a bit. There was no salad/healthy options I had seen but couldimprovise as you can adjust toppings to your liking. Still has great shakes, hotdogs, steak burgers. However I do not know ifyou can still have seasoning flavors on the fries like they used too. I couldn't find it. The 2 kiosks were easy to go via andfast. One took credit only and other credit & cash. We ordered double steak burgers with all topping, fountain drink & fries for$21. Prices are still low and great for family budget. They forgot both our lettuce but was nice to fix it. I enjoyed theburger, toppings and fries. My husband felt like the burger itself was bland. The sauces would be good for next time to give theburgers more flavor. Bathrooms were clean standard sizes, one reg and one handicapable stall. Read more
Worst steak and shake ever! No staff to help. The tables were gross! When we asked for them to be cleaned the manager gave us... attitude. Our food came up cold and soggy dripping with grease. Completely a waste if the $50 i spent to feed my family. I wouldnever come back or recommend this to anyone. Read more
I hadn't been to a Steak N Shake since before COVID. The indoor dining had been closed for that whole time. When I walked in, I... noticed immediately things were different. No longer were there servers, but it has sadly become just another fast food place,just more fancy. You order on kiosks now. And you get your own drinks from a soda machine. And you seat yourself. They took awaythe whole classic restaurant experience. It breaks my heart as a long time patron. The staff here were very helpful. My burgerand fries were perfect. I ordered a kids grilled cheese to go for my daughter. While I am sad to see the servers gone, I stillenjoy the food here. Read more
Never come here on Sunday! Seriously understaffed and drive thru was a mile long! Had to come in to order a shake. Sad.
Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed the several self ordering kiosks. My party didn't have any problems ordering except that... they ran out of mint, didn't disable the button or make a sign stating they couldn't make it, instead just made the shake plain.The tables were all dirty and since we arrived about 30 minutes after opening, I wouldn't have expected it so early in themorning. We visited here on a road trip back home. We were used to Steak n Shake having waiters, real plates, real silverware, and salt,... pepper, mustard, ketchup, and peppers at the tables. They have converted to kiosk or phone order only for dine in, and you haveto try and get the attention from someone making food in the back if you want any plastic silverware, or if you need anything atall beyond the self-serve drinks and napkins. Ketchup is now one of the large dip or squeeze packs per order (which was enoughfor me, but my son got a sticky one). The burgers were good, but one of my son's couldn't eat his chili dog because there was somuch chili on it that the bun disintegrated, and the plastic forks we were given (I asked for a knife, too, but they don't havethem) were absolutely no help. Used to steak and shake being great, but have ordered from this one multiple times. Order is incorrect more often than not, and... my last order's burgers were ice cold. If you want Steak n Shake, find another one. Read more
