First timers and wasn?t aware it was more of a fitness/health spot. My children wanted a smoothie and Google lead us to this... location as we were shopping in Town Center. The cashier told me my total was $8.92, so I gave her $20.02 and asked her for adime back. She gave me $11.06 and said it was ?8 cents.? I guess our younger generations are not doing so well at math. The up-selling of additional fruits catches you of guard. You place the order as you want it and it's followed by an immediate,... would you like to add strawberries or pineapples or mango... whatever the fruit. It all happened so fast and you want to sayyes, then you realize it's so extra and that's not how the smoothie comes. Slightly frustrating, especially when ordering withkids that just say yes. I pre-ordered my smoothie order for pickup, and called ahead to make sure the drinks were still frozen on my way there. When I... arrived my drinks were melted. My husband asked if we could have them freshly made and they said no, that we would have to payfor new drinks. I called to speak with the manager, and as soon as I told her my name she proceeded to ARGUE WITH ME to let meknow that I should have gotten my drink exactly at 1:00. I asked if there was a location they had to store the drinks to keepthem from melting while the customers are coming to pick up their order, and she pretty much implied that they didn?t and thatit was our fault that we didn?t have fresh drinks. She?s VERY unprofessional, as is the employee who brought out our melteddrinks wearing shorts that looked like she worked at Hooters instead of Smoothie King. The only reason I?m giving two stars isbecause I know the great reputation that Smoothie King normally has. This location has employees that clearly does not valuecustomer service or satisfaction.
