Date night with my girlfriend! The vibe is awesome! Lanterns and art filled the walls! The crab Rangoon & chicken potstickers... have me counting down the days until my next reservation!! Very quaint small lively atmosphere with the best bartenders! They take very good care of you. The guy who took care of us was... absolutely fantastic! The drinks are amazing and mysterious as the ingredients are not listed. The food was a limited menu butvery high caliber and delicious. And I must tell you the owner, Secret Tiki Tommy, is an absolute delight!! He brings authentictiki history to life. We'll definitely be going back again soon. Read more
What a hidden gem of a place! My hubby & I had a little mini date night to go out & get a drink... luckily I found this place on... Google but thought we were in the wrong place. It is hidden inside of a dimsum restaurant in a separate room on the side. Besure to get a reservation! Super cool atmosphere & very delicious & creative drinks. You are supposed to make reservations to experience the Secret Tiki Temple but if it's a slow week night your party of 2 might... be able to get in at the bar. The food is pretty much what the Pagoda serves so IF you liked it then you will like that food.. Ipersonally thought the food out at the restaurant was mediocre. The bartenders we GREAT, awesome personalities. Took time tolisten to the drinks I like then made me a great Jungle star wars themed drink. The atmosphere is pretty chill. It's packed fullof STUFF. Sunday funday in Jacksonville Fl, we discovered this place while exploring. The restaurant is a ?Secret? it?s connected to a... restaurant but the Tiki Temple is on the back side. In order to eat at this restaurant you must make a reservation or add yourname to a waitlist. The day of the reservation they send you a password via message and once you arrive you enter and tell thehost your password/party name and anyone who is drinking an alcoholic beverage must get their ID checked in the front. She takesyou toward the back and explains there is a two hour time period in which you may eat and relax. They offer an alcoholicbeverage menu and a ?secret food? menu. The only non-alcoholic beverages they offer is water and pop. The menu is very limitedand the quantity is bite size. The food is very affordable and the drinks start at $12-$30. If you plan on ordering an alcoholicbeverage here the waiter will not tell you what is the drink, they keep everything a secret unless you are allergic to somethingyou may tell your waiter. Keep in mind that once you order a drink here, once it arrives at your table you may not return iteven if it is not to your liking. We ordered the ?Scorpion Bowl? and it was disgusting, we could not return it. In general therestaurant is very small and seating is tight. In total for a party of two the bill was $60. If I was in the area I might visitagain but it was not my cup of tea. Read more
Wonderful experience! Make a reservation! Wear tiki attire. Your server will help you select and customize drinks. The lighting... is low, but warm red tones dominate, so if you're planning on getting some good photos, be prepared with those filters. We loved this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The host Tiki Tom was the best. He gave everyone a personalized... welcome, chit chatted, and gave you the history of the business and his family. Food was traditional Chinese food, but thedrinks were awesome. Read more
