Pulled up to the rundown dilapidated menu board and speaker box have to wait 5 minutes just to place the order another 10 in... line. Get to window only for the guy at the guy to tell us the credit card machine is down. Go to closest ATM come back goinside get ignored at the counter for another 2-3 minutes, when finally acknowledged find out that the credit card machineinside is in fact working and still have to wait for them to make my order. Absolute garbage place should be shut down. Willnever go back. Read more

Although, I like this Popeyes as I pass a closer one to go to Normandy Blvd. The employees are nice. The food is good & always... hot enough. But they are getting really cheap with the French fries. The little bag you get fries in, used to be full. I thoughtmaybe the fries spilled in the bag! Nope, I got literally 12 French fries! Really Popeyes. You couldn?t just fill the littlebag? Why even bother getting fries. 12 French fries wouldn?t satisfy a toddler, never mind a grown person, and I?m not a bigeater, but this is ridiculous! This part, is mostly against Popeyes in general. I know it's "participating locations only" but advertised frozen lemonade,... which is on the physical menu in the physical restaurant, is not available. At all the locations in Jacksonville and Callahanwe've tried. Ik prices are getting expensive on everything, but a $5 mark up to make a sandwich a combo?? Really?? This part,this location. Gossipy and very very casual-attitude service, but nice enough. But not terribly clean. None of the threegirls putting together orders had gloves, can't speak to the cooks in the kitchen. Fly buzzing around, but hey it's Florida,they get in occasionally. They were Out of mashed potatoes and gravy, another menu item "discontinued", even though the menuhas been updated recently enough to include the frozen lemonade special, and the employee called the frozen lemonade "falseadvertising". No soap in the restrooms, no hand sanitizer in the dispensers. Not the employee's fault but horrible parking lotset up, hard to turn into (even in a car, much much worse for husband's pick-up), and the drive through requires like, au-turn in the parking to even get into it. Crazy set up. All in all, not really pleased. If we hadn't already paid, would've walked out. Edit: not only as I said above, had to go back to say yes, there was *hair* in my fries. Great store! They've done a 180 on service and food quality. They struggled with service and wait times over the last few... years. Recently gone back to being a repeat customer and the difference is definitely April in management. She's front andcenter directing staff and ensuring quality with a smile! Ok, first they out of cole slaw. No ranch with ripping chicken and the breading fell right off when picked up. Was horrible and... was very spicy and The mac and chz was watery and had no flavor. Half the food was cold. My son ordered popcorn shrimp, it wasnot like the picture !They were little fried things. No shrimp.They dont give any napkins or wet naps. Mashed taters was goodand biscuits were warm. But had go back in get our drink and napkins. Too many things not good. Never would recommend. Read more
