this location is great, they have a excellent staff and crystal is the best general manager I've seen, way better then most... places I've been. they removed the rude, unprofessional, lazy assistant manager with red hair that treated everyone so bad alongwith the other bad apples in the bunch and now its a great location to eat and employees seem very happy and friendly. repeatcustomer for life. Hi I used to be the assistant general manager for this location let me just say place was a very good experience it showed me... your family will mess you up more than anyone they will yell at for for absolutely nothing and make you feel less important thanthey are for instance crystal Murphy the general manager was my cousin and she?s the gm and I was the assistant general managershe sat in the office most days and did not leave the office all day she would yell about stuff not being done but would doabsolutely nothing to contribute to the store. Dan the district Manager and Camilo the site general manager obviously had tonotice it because everyone in this Popeyes and in the TA travel center gas station saw it and talk about it but they did nothingabout it I don?t advice anyone to work here or even eat at this location it is awful. I am one to always try to look at the whole situation. But my experience at this Popeyes location was terrible. Me and my 12... year old son walked in and upon approaching the counter I overheard another customer trying to explain an order error with thegirl at the counter to which she clearly shut him down and he left angry. I don't know what exactly happened but could tell bytheir body language. When we got to our turn to order, I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches & my son ordered a 3 piece chickentenders combo. The girl working was very short with us and seemed unfriendly. We got our food, got to the car and discovered wehad been given a 3 piece chicken ? not the tenders. I very politely went back into the store. When I walked in the girl lookedat me and shouted over the customer she was helping "What do you need!?" I went up to the counter and began to explain that wehad been given chicken not chicken tenders. She very rudely said "he didn't say tenders, this is what he ordered" I said no, hemost definitely said tenders, then asked - can I please get them switched. She said "No, we have no tenders" I was taken abackand quite shocked by the complete and utter rudeness. I was silent for a minute then asked if maybe we could do the nuggetsinstead. She said once again "No, we have no nuggets either, this is what you have and there is nothing else" Now I don't knowif that was true and maybe it was- but either way the whole situation was terrible. To All the truck driver. This is one of the best Popeyes ever!!!! And I know we have been to a lot of them that just can't get... it right. The customer service was exceptional.From the manager to the staff. No attitude!!! Just friendly and helpful. Justhands down great customer service. We came about 4:15 today. The chicken, shrimp was definitely hot and delicious. Along withthe gravy and mash potatoes. Y'all know how hard it is to get a hot meal that's fresh,hot and actually taste the way it supposeto,with great customer service!!!! Hardly ever!!!! We have no complaint about anything. I give this place 10 stars if I couldand ask if they could teach the other restaurants at truck stop the same attitude and how to treat there customer along withtruck driver just want a hot meal just like everyone else!!!!!! If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Out of 5 employees handling food, only 1 was properly wearing a mask. Sign on the door... for customers states you must wear a mask if entering, but for employees handling food is it ok not to wear a mask???!!! Always loved Popeyes, more of a Chik fil a fan though! This place is a little out of the way but wanted to see what this new... sandwich was all about. First of all it was pretty busy, line went quick, staff was very nice and friendly. Wait for our foodwasn't too long and food was hot and our order was accurate. The new popeyes sandwich dare I say is better than chik fil a!!!Wish we had this restaurant closer to our home. The only thing I'll dock them on is the cleanliness of the dining area.
