2nd order from here and will be the last. First order was made incorrectly but didn't care enough to review it or try to have it... corrected. Figured they were training people and would be better next time. This time, the quality of the order is very low,the dough is too dense, the order was correct but found a hair in the Philly pizza (see pictures). Tried giving it a secondchance but will not be back. Would recommend anywhere else, or just making your own pizza over going here. Read more
Papa John?s has alway been my go to for pizza as my daughter doesn?t consume meat and loves the garden pizza offering. I... recently moved to Jacksonville and I have to say, we REALLY tried giving this location a shot! Like several to be honest. Evenwhen trying to address problems with my order, I do my part to remain calm and friendly because after all, I?m relying onstrangers to prepare food for my family and hey, life happens, thus mistakes happen right? Well I should have learned my lessonafter spending over $30 for pizza that not only showed up late but cold. I shared my experience by filling out the survey youget after placing an order. The responses was, we apologize and give us a chance to do better with a coupon code. At mydaughter?s urging, I used the coupon and ordered two more pizzas. The pizza came so quick I was actually surprised ???? andeven more pleasantly surprised to have received another coupon in the mail, enticing my daughter to have me place an order foryes, more pizza. This time, not only was the pizza late and cold?it wasn?t even our order ??????????? So if your name isCarolyn, I?m sorry dear, your order arrived at my house. I called the store, informed them of the mishap and they offered toremake the order and send it out but I said no biggie just please credit my payment method. Easy enough right? NO!! I receiveda store credit, which meant I have to, you guessed it, order more pizza. My daughter wanted pizza today so I said cool, I?llcall the store and use my credit. My call was disconnected 6 times and 1 time someone answered and said I was calling the wrongnumber. On my 8th Attempt, I finally reached a manager, who provided assistance. Service and On-line ordering works very well at this location. Plenty of parking never any lines. But the Pizza Wars that have... raged might be good for reducing consumer prices but it comes at a huge expense. Quality. Pappa John's Pizza simply isn't of thequality that it once was. This can be found everywhere from the richness of the tomatoe sauce to the least amount of cheese thatcan and is used. ???? Read more
Love the pizza, it's my favorite pizza chain. The customer service could be a bit better at this location, but it is only a... pickup place so not too worried. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes before I was able to place my order, which wasdisappointing. When they rang me up I wanted to add a soda and they said that they would have to run my card twice since Ididn't ask for it when I placed these order, again disappointing. But the pizza is good! Tried to order from the papa John's 1680 dunn ave. As it was the closest location. They told me my address is out of range, I'm... only 5.5 miles from their location exactly and then they tell me that the cut off is US.1/new kings. So basically the north westportion of Jacksonville is out of their service area. Lol ridicules. Read more
