Reviews for Noura Cafe - .Lakewood University Blvd W in Jacksonville, FL
My wife and I are both Lebanese and we have sampled most Mediterranean spots here in Jacksonville. Nothing is even close to... feeling like home like Noura. The owner Mr. Raymond is just your quintessential Lebanese restaurant owner with the expectedlegendary Lebanese hospitality. Not to mention that this is the ONLY place in Jacksonville where you can have 'Kibbeh Nayye'which the restaurant only offers on Thursday. The place also has an amazing space for gatherings and parties and we LOVE andcannot stress how much we do , the fact that it is a NON- smoking business, thus breaking the obscene stereotype that MiddleEastern places are somehow only Shisha places. Noura is a piece of home away from home. Read more

Fantastic place for middle eastern food! Good menu selection. Got the vegetarian appetizer and lamb gyro to go. The gyro lacked... a bit of flavor. It was served hot and I still enjoyed it. The service was excellent! I'll be back to try something else on themenu next time. Read more
ordered takeout today , the owner was pleasant on the phone. However, when I arrived to pay for the order he charged me for a... whole other meal. The pricing on Google said $12.99 for a platter but he corrected and said it is now $13.99. I said no problemand am excited to try the food. When I went to pay it came out to be $59 instead of $44 and he dismissed my concern. I initiallythought it was because we ordered one that may have been more expensive since the pricing on Google was different. I went backin and he hurried me instead of taking the time to understand and told me that?s the correct pricing. I was extremely patientand kind to him as I saw it was very busy and told him I didn?t mean to hold up the line. I checked on my phone to look at thepricing and waited back in line to speak with him again and calculated to show him. He NEVER ONCE apologized for charging meextra and was trying to show me another customers bill even after speaking with him 3 different times. As a first time customerI was excited to try the food but will not be back for how I was treated. If you do pay them a visit make sure they don?t overcharge you, always check your receipt!! The food was decent ordered the beef shawarma, half and half plate , and chickenplatter, they weren?t any better than other Mediterranean places. Wish there was sauce that came with the chicken because it wasreally dry. Read more
This place is a great little gem. The owner and staff are great and the food is excellent. The stuffed grape leaves and hummus... are made fresh each morning. We try to stop by here when we are in the area. Along with their daily menu, they have severaldaily specials throughout the week. Today I tried the eggplant special. Excellent choice. We will return.
