I'm FHG (Florida Home Grown) and BBQ is a part of family foods. Mission BBQ is real good!!! Meat is tender, great taste W/O... sauce. 6 sauce choices to taste. Sides are very tasty, worthy by themselves. A serious threat to established BBQ houses. Ribs,pulled pork and brisket sampler was made even better by the service. Olivia greeted us, explained the menu and maderecommendations based on what we wanted to try. She made the experience earn a star above. True food service professional!!! My son & I visit here for the 1st time. Nevertheless, it was an epic experience for the both of us. The staff was very friendly...
& nice. We felt more than welcome. I order pulled chicken it was seasoned so good with turkey; baked bean & green beans. (Asyou can see I was all in this meal & almost forgot to take a picture) Blue cream pop is the best.

This was by far our best experience in a Jax restaurant. We were never better treated. Keila took our order with such patience... that I was shocked. The staff was all so nice and friendly, the environment was light and happy. Our food was AMAZING! Thechocolate pudding deluxe was actually one of the best desserts I ever had. Read more
My wife and I where visiting Jacksonville from Oregon and this place had by far the best service of the other restaurants we... went and the food was far better than the other places also. Only regret was we didn?t try it until the day before we left. Wewill definitely be coming back in the future. Read more
Absolutely outstanding BBQ!! My friend and I ordered the 10 bone baby ribs (fell right off the bone, no fork & knife needed) we... also had the pulled pork and chopped brisket. All 3 were top notch! As for the sauces, my top 2 were the Florida gator andTupelo honey heat. I desperately wanted to go again for lunch the next day however my time in JAX was cut short. Until nexttime! Read more
The food was delicious. We ordered the baby back ribs with baked beans and coleslaw. We ended up getting the caramel bread... pudding by mistake, I wasn't even mad about the mix up, it was so good. The bake beans have a more BBQ sauce taste but verytasty. I also order the smoke turkey with macaroni and green beans w/bacon plus a pulled pork sandwich with cheese potatoes. Igive the food a 10. It was all good sized portions and the taste was definitely on point. I would recommend to give them a try. Read more
Excellent BBQ! Would have posted a pic of food but ate it all before I remembered! Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive ... staff. An unruly customer interrupted dinner so the manager brought me an apple cobbler for the disruption. Will be back hereagain. Read more
