I was pet sitting for a friend across the street. I thought I'd just hit up Jimmy John's on Laura street after I was done but... just happened to park in front of Jumpin Jax. They were about to close in an hour so I ran in and ordered a Jumpin Jax burgerwith pepper jack cheese. There wasn't a lot of fries but they were yummy! Well seasoned, fresh, and hot. The burger is the onlyreason I cut one star. I wish I could only cut half a star. I just don't feel it was medium... Felt it was medium rare. Notreally seasoned either. Read more
The food is amazing!! The staff is the nicest group of people. The morning staff is so sweet. What a great staff you have on... mornings!! They go out of their way for the customers. The Jax sauce is so yummy. Breakfast is my favorite time to order. The ?ISmell Bacon? sandwich is amazing and the deep dish breakfast pizza is my kids favorite. Lunch is also very yummy. Just tried a burger at Jumpin' Jax... First impression was that it appeared to be a pre-formed (possibly frozen) patty, maybe... not hand-pattied, relatively thin for a place that seems to specialize in burgers, and the grill marks were just sheerbitterness, it was all I could taste. In fact I'm certain that will be repeating on me all night. I was halfway through it andthought, "I never want to eat this burger again." The HOF chips were hard, not sure if that's normal or if they were stale. Idid like the Cole Slaw, it was slightly sweet, slightly tangy and just a touch creamy, but very fresh.
