Quick service and food is consistently good. I used to go to Mr. Snapper because they have good food but their prices are rising... and lines are long. This spot allows you to order and pay quickly. You may have a 5-7 min wait for your food but they have spaceavailable to park so your not waiting in a long line and that's what makes a difference. Read more
Tried this place on a fluke and other than the cashier that could not make eye contact or speak at an audible level, this place... is just fine for a fried lunch. It will win no awards for décor or ambiance, but for a reasonably priced lunch it is adefinite go. I had fried shrimp lunch special and to my surprise the shrimp were neither overcooked or over seasoned and theportions are just right for lunch. Read more
I'm not from the area and stumbled upon Jax. The fact that I was able to get excellent food along with excellent service so late... is a plus. I had the flounder dinner. I didn't really care for the fries but the flounder and okra was so awesome. I couldn'teat all of my food because the flounder was huge pieces. I also ordered the Catfish and fried mushrooms and family said that wasamazing. This is an excellent seafood restaurant!! Read more

Decore is scarey and old. I've been here a few times over the years of the name and possibly owner changes. Anyhow taste is... good. They have that "Lawd have mercy" good seasoning they dash on top. Too much is not enough. I ordered the platter withtenders, shrimp, and flavored wings. The tenders were a nice size but lack flavor. Good portions. Spent $21w/tax. Shrimp aregood size. Wings fried hard like I like. Flavor ok. I got sweet & tangy. At the core bland. Then added crab cake (is frozen thendeep fried, but still taste good) and corn-nuggets (not bad, but won't order again. I just prefer a creamed kind. This is morebreaded whole corn). Staff so far has been nice. Overall good menu. May drop in for some sides every now and then. Read more
I will be fair and honest in this review. I had your lunch #3, which was gizzards and wings. Although I read several of your... reviews, I can agree with some of them and disagree with others. But in my honest opinion, these were the best fried gizzardsand wings I?ve ever had!!!! The portion was huge on my plate. I couldn?t even finish everything. So for the food, I honestlygive you a ?5-Star? review. The reason I gave this establishment a 2-Star review, is for the awful cleanliness of thisrestaurant. Quite frankly, both outside appearance, and the inside of this establishment are filthy and unpleasant. Thebuilding is quite old and is desperately crying out for a complete renovation. As I waited for my food to come out, I sat downin one of the tables, and as you can see in the pictures that I am adding with this review, the tables were old &disgusting. The walls have been painted over and over to cover up whatever old mildew residue was left maybe not by theseowners, but passed. I guess they try to clean the inside using strong odor deterrence liquids. (Maybe pine oil or Fabuloso) IDK???????????. But it?s very unpleasant to be eating inside this establishment and at the same time smelling those chemicals. Tomanagement: Please address these issues regarding the cleanliness of your restaurant although during my stay, you had a lot ofcustomers come in? I noticed that it was only me and another person that actually stayed eating inside your establishment, allthe rest, just ordered to go.
