Love the selection, and who can argue with soup and a sandwich. Soup from a can I believe, but still decent. Plenty of dirty... tables when we arrived, but they cleaned quickly after. Read more

I only take time to write a review when the food/service is really good or really bad and you can tell by the one star this is... going to be a bad one. Dirty Dirty Dirty. A lot of the tables are filthy with no one taking a walk around to clean. I ordereda Manager special with the seafood gumbo and a chicken sandwich I asked for my toast to be extra toasted and my sauce on theside but it came all smushed together and to be honest I couldn?t finish the half sandwich it was so bad. The gumbo was alsovery nasty and the rice was crispy unlike the bread which was soggy due to too much dressing that I asked for on the side?.Subway is way better and worthwhile. I even gave a tip on my tab?. I feel like I just paid 12 dollars for a .99 cent bag oflays as that was all that was edible?. I am leaving as hungry as I arrived?. All of these tables were the same when I got hereand when I left and there are plenty of staff on duty?.. There also was no paper towels in the restroom?. So sad ???? Read more

The restaurant was clean with fast service and great staff. I ordered the California club with a side of Mac and cheese. My... friend got a baked potato that was the size of her head. We sat comfortably for hours talking and never felt pressured by staffto hurry up and leave, which was a really refreshing change from most restaurants. Read more

June 28, 2022 and the place continues to meet expectations. In the area make sure you stop in. Where has this place been? Hard... to believe they have been at this location for over 20 years and us in the area for 14 and never heard of it. The large Deli iseasly located off Southside in a strip mall with plenty of parking as well as inside and outside seating. An easy to read menuboard gives you numerous sandwich and salad selections but you better come hungry as my sandwich (Ruben) had a 1/2lb of meat andBill's (NY Special) 3/4lb with both coming with Ripple Chips. The only thing we wish they had were Fries and perhaps a bitwarmer with the meat and look a melting the cheese more but other than that not a single negative. The salad bar looks great andwill try it next time. Again clean well run that needs to advertise a bit more to get the NY crowd to start coming in. Read more

I drove across Jacksonville because I wanted a cool dinner on a hot night. I saw the menu and reviews and chose this place. I am... very disappointed. Not a great 1st impression. Half of my chicken Caesar SALAD wrap had 4 quarter pieces of lettuce on it. Ishouldn?t be able to count how many pieces of lettuce are in a salad wrap. If I wanted a chicken sandwich with a little bit oflettuce, that?s what I would have ordered. With the key word being salad wrap it should have more lettuce in it than provided. Ialso ordered a macaroni salad and they never put it in my bag. I was going to give a 1 but I gave it a 2 because the man whohelped me was polite and made my son laugh. Service was good. When I paid $26.00 for 2 wraps. I expected to be blown away with abig delightful wrap. Read more

Cheaper than Panera, better than McAlisters, more delicious than either - but this is just one man?s humble opinion. Perhaps my... judgment is clouded by nostalgia; after all, I did grow up eating at the original location in Beaumont, TX. The California Club(on croissant) and the Beefeater (pictured below) are my go-to menu items. When I moved to Gainesville I was looking forward toJason?s, which was listed on google maps, but alas it had become yet another casualty of covid. This sandwich always hits thespot - the light smattering of what I can only guess is French onion sauce sends it over the edge. Sub the standard ruffles forbaked lays and add a sweet tea - it danceth on the palate like Tyreek Hill after a Super Bowl TD. Read more

Have been wanting to try this place for a while since I work pretty much next door to it. We went for lunch & besides the... customer service everything else was subpar. The Steak Po' Boy is cold which isn't a problem but you should at least make theslices thinner so that it's easier to chew. The California Club was supposed to be on a toasted croissant, it was not acroissant nor was it toasted. Nothing fresh about the fruit & there was mold on the cheese. Needless to say, I tried it once &that was more than enough for me. Read more

Great tasting food all around. Menu contains many different selections, from sandwiches (hot and cold), pastas, salads, and... potato boats. Salad bar is well equipped with good varieties. There is a free ice cream machine where you can grab a littletreat, included with your meal. Out of the Meateater, Texas Style Potato, and Smokey Turkey Jack sandwich, the Meateater was thewinner in deliciousness. Place has plenty of space for social distancing. Read more
