I really wish I could say something good here, but unfortunately I got very sick after eating here. I think it was probably the... oyster. I only have been here once, so I can?t speak for other people?s experience. I just know I want try again, once bittentwice shy. I was sick and in pain after eating the fried shrimp and oysters combo. Well I usually Uber Eats this place but I decided I didn't mind the ride. Mistake! I was better never coming here. I feel the... place inside was questionable, but looking behind the counter at the people making the food. The area looked very clean.Everyone wearing gloves even seen one guy take a pair off and change them. The drive thru seemed a mess though. The worker atthe window was extremely rude, the way he was talking to customers who where just hungry. Did I mention he was eating a openplate right in front of me while I was waiting for my food. The inside is well dated the furniture looked like it was boughtfrom a cheap flea market storage. (Note:none of those are here in Jax) Overall the food was still good. I got some fish shrimpand fries with a side of oysters. The fish had to be frozen not fresh while tasty still loses points. The shrimp go fast becauseof the seasoning. I love the fried oysters of course with ketchup don't judge. Sorry I ate half the food before I thought abouta photo. I wish they sold the seasoning, they put on the seafood. I know for sure it's at least lemon pepper. Overall I like theplace but with the area being how it is right there and the inside. I'm gonna stick to Uber Eats or Door Dash for this place. Read more

Ordered the chicken gizzards & i could tell it was refried & a bit salty. So I called up there they told me to bring it back & I... did. They made me a new order in which I requested no seasoning & the second plate was delish! Thank you for the fix with noissues. Fries didn?t look too appetizing but I didn?t want them anyway. Had a great experience the first time I came here about a month ago. Today I ordered the same exact meal. Chicken and shrimp... plate..All of it tasted old! the fries were cold.. shrimp tasted like they had been sitting .. chicken was the best thing onthe plate until I saw this blackness all in the chicken. Yuck! Not impressed. I won?t be back again. Looking at that meat mademe feel sick. Can?t believe how it was so good the first time and then it was terrible the second time. Oh and then the ranchthat was put in the bag in the container spilled everywhere because it wasn?t closed correctly. Just a mess. Hook Fish & Chicken is fresh and delicious! I got the Flounder and chicken wings. The flavor was bold! It was so fresh and hot.... Everything is cooked to order. The wait was not that long either.
