First waited for the burger. Took about 8 minutes. Then after that, was told it would be 5 more minutes for the fries. Then... after the fries were cooked...... was told 2 more minutes for the shake??? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it make senseto start all items at the same time instead of one after the other....? That way it would have been an 8 minute wait.... not a20 minute wait???? Ordered fries only via mobile order. I arrived eight minutes after the pickup ready time. There was only one other customer in... the building. They hadn't even put my fries in the oil yet until I arrived so I had to wait the ENTIRE time for them to cook.There is literally no point in ordering through the app... Only have a thirty minute lunch break so everyday I order ahead through whatever restaurant's app so it will be ready on... arrival. I noticed this is the only place on my list of favs that is never ready on arrival. I realized it's because they waituntil you're AT the restaurant for pickup before they cook the fries. I understand the good intentions here.... but it utterlydefeats the purpose of ordering ahead... I've learned to just not get fries if I don't want to be ticked off... It's sad becausethe name of the restaurant is Five Guys Burgers and FRIES but until they change how they do pickup orders I can't be botheredwith the hassle of fries to be late back from lunch Read more
Last time giving them a chance. This is the fourth order ahead in two months that has not been ready on arrival. Why is it that... every other fast food (including ones with a drive thru) get the order together faster? Read more
Burger is always fantastic. Fries too.
When you order ahead, they will literally wait until you arrive and look you in the eyes as they drop your fries in the fryer.... Like it would kill them to actually have the order ready on TIME. The rest of the order will always be made... except for thefries, so it doesn't even matter. So much for ordering AHEAD.... Read more
