A staple in Jacksonville deli casual dining - in addition to great food and heaping portions, they have a shop selling all sorts... of imported treats. I especially love their club sandwiches. I was feeling blue and it was cold out. A friend and I went for lunch because food just cheers me up. I needed comfort and... warmth and this place brought it! Friendly staff that answered my weird questions ???? . I ordered the beer cheese soup in abread bowl with a salad and pretzels and a huge slice of german chocolate cake ???? the soup was very rich and that bread bowlwas so fluffy. The pretzels went great in the soup! But that german chocolate cake sent me over the edge. Soooooo rich andcreamy and fluffy and AMAZING! Small cafe atmosphere. The wait staff was very nice. The food is good. They have really delicious beer cheese soup. I also... ordered the roast beef and Boursin sandwich. This restaurant seems to offer a lot of lunch meat sandwiches, salad, soups, anddesserts with a few other options. I?d recommend it. :) Read more

The last thing this should be called is a European Cafe. Yes, they have an incredible selection of beers, but the food is... uninspired. There are fur pages of sandwiches, and none of them are particularly interesting or European. To add insult to it,they serve them with store bought potato chips. Boring! The desserts in the display case look pretty good, but they don't havean expresso machine to make a decent cup of coffee to serve with it. We were the a good hour and a half and pretty much everyonewas there for the beer. So if you want to try beers from around the world, this is the place. But a good meal is notforthcoming. Read more
I have the good fortune of being able to say that back in the mid 70?s I was a patron of Mr Dunderbachs which was down by JC... Pennys inside Regency Square. As a teenager I sat at the counter every chance I got. Fast forward 45 years later to EuropeanStreet and the ?deli? style eatery that only belonged to Wormans still lives in Jacksonville. I?ve been eating the ?BlueMax?all of my adult life and am so glad that the owners of this restaurant have hung in there and outlasted so many changes here inJacksonville. We are close by on Beach Blvd and take our management here for lunch all the time and they love it. We have hadso many wonderful waitresses through the years. Robin had us today and we just love her.
