It was okay not terrible but also not very good either. My chicken was extremely hard, the macaroni I could have cooked at home,... the sweet potato was the only thing enjoyable! I had chive green onions, butter, sour cream, bacon and cheese on top ??. Themuffin and the biscuit tasted like a soft pillow/cotton. I will maybe try this location again but not for awhile now. I have been to many Cracker Barrel?s, and all have been a good experience. Except when I went to this one with a friend who... travelled from Australia that never been to one before. I mentioned how good the food is and what a let down this was. Theomelette she has was rubbery, and the flavor was not good. The rest of the food was mediocre at best, and the orange juice didnot taste like what I?m used to having at other CB restaurants. Customer service was nice though. Kinda hidden so it was hard to find. 1/4 of their parking lot is being torn up, as well as the other side of their front porch... area. The retail part in the front was full of clothes and other knick knacks. We were seated right away by the hostess. Theybrought a high chair for my kiddo to sit in. I ordered the chicken and dumplings with a side of hash brown casserole andcoleslaw. I wanted to try their new Watermelon lemonade, but I was informed they were out. So I had the server make a strawberrylemonade instead. My daughter had the kids shrimp and fries with apple juice to drink. My friend had Coke with the GrandmaSampler meal. I added biscuits and one cornbread to our bread for the table since my daughter and I both got bread with ourmeals. Everything was dry though. I did put jelly on the biscuits but that still wasn't enough. The restaurant was mostly empty.The server disappeared for a little bit so we had to wait a moment to get the check and a box for my daughter's food. I'm notmuch for southern cooking, but I really like those chicken and dumplings. I couldn't finish my entire meal because there was SOmuch food. My meal was only $7.99 too. Sich a nice place to grab some good home cooked food with your family. Clean, courteous, and charming. The price isn't bad and... as usual it's worth the money. Our wait wasn't long and our food was fresh and fast. No complaints from my daughter either.Staff was very polite and our server was helpful. The have a gift shop which is really cool too! This was an awesome experience! It was our first time at a Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere was just perfect, not too quite, not... too noisy, just perfect. Very nice restaurant theme. They have a souvenir shop at the entrance, very interesting. Wednesdayaround 11:30 am. Not crowded at all. Plenty of parking. No wait time to be seated. Friend was our waitress? name. She was veryfriendly, happy, helpful, and very attentive with us. She gave us excellent recommendations food wise. Our food was readyquickly and it tasted very well. The quality and quantity of the food was very high. We enjoyed all of it. And theirpancake/French toast syrup is amazing! Then we spent some money at their souvenir shop. Read more

So this time that we went the food was good but the service was so bad from our waitress. We had to ask for item 4 to 5 times... before she would bring it. Got so bad that we just decided to stop asking to save ourselves the irritating feeling of havingher not bring an item. She only had 2 tables so it was not an issue of being in the weeds. She at one point sat down at an emptytable to text then act like she was cleaning it only moving things from one direction to another. We normally have goodservice and the food was good. I will shock this up on a server that really doesn't want to be there working. I have been awaitress before and know how hard the job is when you are trying to make money on tips. Usually, the better the service thebetter the tip. Update: 5/22/2021 Cracker Barrel reached out to apologize for the bad service and made it right with anincentive. However the person that created a wonderful experience was Lemuel (Lem) our server. He turned our last experiencefrom disaster to redemption. He was on top of our service and every table he had.
