Had the country fried steak. Real steak, not a cubed steak. With mac and cheese and tomatoes and cucumbers. Very delicious!

Showed up with a group of 6 for a lunch meeting. There were 3 other tables of people. The service was prompt. We ordered 2... appetizers and food. I ordered the chicken and waffles. I always order chicken and waffles if it's an option on a menu. However,this time I was slightly disappointed. The fried chicken was WAY over fried. I'm pretty sure that the waitress knew. I'd been wanting to try this place for a while and finally decided to take my 11 month old on a mommy/son date. Asked the server... who was very friendly what I should get. She recommended the shrimp and grits and mac and cheese for the little one. Topped itall off with banana pudding. AMAZING food. You either nail shrimp and grits or you fail and their rendition of it is totallydrool worthy. Wonderful staff, better food, cozy little bistro. Loved it!!!! Read more
