Reviews for Clark's Fish Camp Seafood Restaurant in Jacksonville, FL
Fun for the kids. Lots of little gators to watch on the deck. The shark bites were really good but I didn?t really like the... Caesar salad and the fried veggies were just ok. The ultimate steak was good but also pretty fatty. Seasoned fries were reallygood. The service was fast and good. Overall we had a good time. Read more
Delicious! Place is full of all different kinds of animals. They have a wide array of food (wild meats) and seafood. The shark... bites and low country boil were wonderful! If you're in the area, you must stop by! You will not be disappointed. Read more
Let?s start with the good, our waitress was Peggy and she was AMAZING. She could not have been nicer, she could not of been... more efficient and she saved our dinner from being a disaster. Hat?s off to you Peggy. Now the bad. This restaurant used tobe one of the most popular restaurants in Jacksonville. It had a cool vibe, fun atmosphere, waterfront dining and a really coolmenu. I say ?had?, because it is just not the same place anymore and we witnesses the staff doing everything they could to behelpful, but something is clearly amiss. So if you still want to give it a try, here is a run down on the food: Drinks - tea, coke products, beer - all good. Caesar Salad - sadly I had to pick threw and throw out bad pieces of lettuce, but the flavor wasgood. Side Salad - same as Caesar, but maybe a little fresher. Gator Tail Appetizer - BEST DISH of the night, by far. LoadedBaked Potato - passable, came 1/2 way through my meal. Mac?n Cheese - this dish came out COLD plus it had a strange texture. 1/2Lb Cheese Burger - this was inedible, it was awful. 1/2 Lb Burger - my daughter said it was good. Scallops - my wife raved aboutthe flavor Gator Tail Dinner Basket - clearly the way to go here, it was just as good as the appetizer. Stuffed Flounder - partsof it were burnt and so hard I could not cut them with a fork, not all of it, but two parts. I was really confused, but it wasreally unpleasant. Talapia - strange texture and taste. Not good one either. NOTE - most sides did not come out on time andwere delivered well into the meal. It was really just an unpleasant evening. But one of those stories you will tell at familyget togethers for years to come. It will also be the answer to the family trivia, worst dining experience ever, which is ashame because our server Peggy was so sweet. I should point out that we were not the only ones disappointed. Three of thetables around us had either complaints or words with the manager and all demanded discounts or i Read more
Pay attention to your bill, they automatically add 18% gratuity to every bill... Atmosphere is great, service was excellent,... pricing wasn't aweful, but I didn't realize I double tipped until I got home. But overall a wonderful experience for the entirefamily, young gators where right outside and in view of our table. Read more
Really enjoyed my meal of fried scallops! They have an extensive menu so there's something for everyone. The decor is awesome if... you have a hunter in your group. I would recommend that you choose another day other than Sunday in that many items were soldout due to large Friday and Saturday crowds. Read more
Great views! Food was very good, drinks were a bit weak. Service with a smile. It is a bit hard to eat with all the trophy... animals on the ceiling. If you are ok with that, i would definitely recommend. Read more
I've grown to appreciate and practically love Clark's over the years, especially when we have visitors from out-of-town. It's a... cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant with comfort food and a unique vibe. It's like dining in a riverside version of theNatural History museum! Kids love it, there's so much to see and explore. There are staples on the menu like burgers, chickenand salads, but also lots of fresh seafood dishes and unique tasters from llama to kangaroo!! Phenomenal food for the price. Hands down the best blackened frog legs I?ve ever had. As a surprise added bonus, the place is an... incredible taxidermic zoo?. Plus, we literally ate next to some live Gators off of the beautiful St. John?s River. This place isa must see here in Jax! Read more
