The restaurant was not very busy the food came out in a reasonable time and was a decent quality the kitchen staff was actually... pretty friendly but the person working the front counter seemed like they had something going on like maybe a personal issue orsomething that was distracted them we try to be overly friendly to see if we could warm up to them but they never did anyway itwas not a bad visit overall the food was decent and the speeds of food came out was very reasonable the cook even pass throughthe dining room and was very polite and friendly overall I'd say it was a decent visit it's obviously an older Captain D'srestaurant and could use a deep cleaning and maybe even a renovation Read more
Fast, friendly staff. Food was good and portions were generous
Won't be going to this location anymore. I ordered a #5 catfish feast which was advertised on the driver through meanu as 9.99... but tried to charge me 10.89. The manager "Ms. Rashida " took $1 off but decided to give me 2 pieces of catfish and 1 white fishtender like I'm stupid and don't know the difference. I went through the drive-thru at this location last night after 7:30 P.M. Usually in the past I've had no bad experiences. But... last night the Food I had received tasted like complete Garbage. Wish I could speak in other words how I really feel about it. Ihad ordered a three piece fish with double fries. What I thought was Fish was not fish. It tasted like nasty batter dippedchicken. Just sorry and a complete waste of My money. The food is all treated by MSG anyway just to give it flavor and appealto consumers. Something better needs to take the place of Captain D's in general. Always a pleasant experience when I visit a Captain D's restaurant. The jumbo was amazing! And the Southern Pecan Pie was yo die... for. Staff was very pleasant and awesome to deal with. Read more
Delicious Fried Fish meal, two sides, solid portion. Drive thru. Wish they didn't use styrofoam. All else, thumbs up.
Visited cassat ave. location on Tuesday 11/5/19. Purchased Giant Fish Sandwich was very good.
They need to change there grease more often and let there devil crabs thaw completely out before cooking them it's seem like... everytime I go there it's either my food is greasey from being cooked in old grease or my devil crabs are cold in the middle andthey don't put your green beans in a cup like you ask they dump them on the container plate and the bean juice get all into yourhush puppies and shrimp and fish I hate that but they don't like it when you complain and return your food you end up on thedeath wait so if you have someplace to be or on your lunch break just deal with it and go or end up on the death wait????
