Stopped in today after hearing about this place from social media. To say I wasn't disappointed and enjoyed it. My fiancé... ordered the Apple Pie Waffle and I was fortunate to sample it very very good. Meanwhile I had the breakfast quesadilla and omgit was so crispy and the bacon was soooo crunchy I loved it. The hash browns were excellent as well. I love the ambiance of thisplace it was so well put together. The service was excellent as well and the wait even though said 25 mins took about 15. Stophere and enjoy it! Read more

Update 8/10/22: Changed a 3 star rating to a 5 star. Glad I came back a year later to try this place again. Huge improvement on... the food! Nice presentation, and delicious. Service was great. Original review: Had high expectations based on reviews fromfriends and reading them online. Beautiful place. Nice seating arrangements. I was not as impressed with the food as I thought Iwould be. What we ordered tasted like an average brunch for the most part. The ?Big Daddy? had potatoes that tasted like theywere from the day before. I was not a fan of the gravy, and the film on top was proof it had been sitting. The rye toast wasgreat. The ?Goat In The Garden? was the fave. The ?Avocado BLT Benny? was good. The ?wow? factor wasn?t really there. Previouspresentations of food I?ve seen were better than we got. Fruit was cold, fresh, and delicious. Service was fine, although foodcame out at separate times (party of four). Location is awesome. Read more

I love this place. Today I had The Skeeter Skillet. It comes with homefries, country fried steak & gravy, with 3 eggs & toast.... It was so delicious & was enough food to last me til dinner. Read more

This place is so underrated. Everyone is high on Grumpy?s but this is the best breakfast place on 210 imo. They have all kinds... of cool stuff on the menu like cookies and cream waffles, bagel and lox, steak and eggs wrap and more. My wife and I loved ourexperience here and we will definitely be back! Overall my wife and I had a pleasant experience at Canopy road. The star of the day was undoubtedly the fried green tomatoes... appetizer. They were perfectly fried and the aeoli was delicious. The addition of pimento cheese was a surprise but a welcomeone that added a different dimension of flavor to the dish. I ordered the B. B. Skillet over hash browns and my wife had theveggie omlet. The skillet was loaded with vegetables and the toast was perfectly toasted. My only complaint was that the hashbrowns weren't seasoned enough and that it could have used something like a salsa or some other acid to bring the whole dishtogether, but overall it was a really good plate of hash browns. My wife said her omelette really good and surprisingly largeportion that was absolutely stuffed with veggies and goat cheese. She took some of the leftover pimento cheese and added it tothe grits for some extra flavor. The food was out quickly and the service was friendly. A great experience that I would highlyrecommend to anyone in the St. Johns area. Read more

A great addition for the northern Saint Johns community. The Italian avocado toast was delicious. Coffee is decent but could... have been a little warmer. My guests loved the Sweet Carolina sandwich and the pancake selections. The biscuits were good buthardened up really quickly. Read more

Biscuits and Gravy Review: The dish is very pretty, but the taste is horrible. They tasted like preservatives. There is... definitely not a homemade taste to the biscuits and gravy. I could not finish them. Now I?ve had their lunch and it rocked, butI was born and raised in the south and these biscuits and gravy did not do it for me. Don?t eat the biscuits, try somethingelse. Very friendly staff! But lunch time can feel extremely crowded. Be careful at what time of day you go. Read more

I don't write reviews often but I felt this one was needed. Firstly the food was good. Honest opinion subpar at the most.... Slightly over priced but eh. Not the issue I want to speak about. Secondly (my biggest concern) was the food handling. I sat atthe bar close by the window for the kitchen. After ordering I realized that every server had thier hair down and was handlingfood. I'm not too sure but in the service industry and handling food you had to have your hair tied back. Also the male cookswith beards had no nets on them either. Lastly none of the cooks nor the expo server ( which preps the food and was serving theplates) were wearing gloves. I watched many servers and the food expo server touch many things (including money) and then touchplates and serve them to customers. There was a whole box of gloves right next to the expo line full, it was bizzar. I never sawanyone wash thier hands and all of the staff constantly on thier phones (which is dirty as well). One more thing. I dont livein St.Johns County so this could be completely different but anywhere I've dined ths majority of servers if not all wear masksdue to coivd. NONE were wearing masks period. Oh also ill add when we asked what seasoning was on the fries the cooks andserver answered " we don't know they just come that way sorry". Read more
