They have a sign out front talking about there sweet tea. So I accepted the challenge. I ordered the sweet tea in the drive... thru. Took 13.27 minutes to get a large sweet tea. Was kind of upset. If someone just ordered a tea and was waiting I would havewalked to their vehicle to give them their order instead of making them wait. Also the tea was nothing phenomenal. The food that I actually received from my online order was delicious then I called to speak to the manager to go over what was... missing in my order and after waiting 20 minutes I was hung up on.. I called back and then the female that answered had anattitude because she said she could replace my fried okra and toast tonight or tomorrow night it was supposed to go with themeal that my family was eating at this moment. so I asked her if she gonna replace my whole meal or just the Okra and toastso she said why would I replace your whole meal when all that was left behind was okra and toast well I don't know because Iordered it that way it was supposed to be an entire meal and it's 8 o'clock on a Sunday night we all have to work so I didn'twant to have to go back tonight I already was there and had my order been right I would have had dinner the way I wanted. sowhy would I just want some random fried Okra and toast on just a Monday or Wednesday night without everything else I orderedwith our FAMILY MEAL!!!!!! Haven?t been to Bono?s in a while and decided to come visit. WORST decision ever. I paid $21 for a large brisket platter which... included 6 small chunks of brisket, and very small portions of fries and okra. Not to mention everything was COLD. I reallythought this was joke because wth. The best thing was the toast. And for $21 the meal didn?t come with a drink. Down rightridiculous. Save your money on this place. Read more
I visited Bono's on Lanes Avenue to have lunch and to enjoy a meal with a good friend ordered the two meat combo the St Louis... cut ribs was the end cut very dry burned and the meat was really really dry. I did not request a replacement or made a fuss evengave the waitress a tip. This was a bad experience but I guess when you're dealing with people that don't care about what theyserve their customers it is heartbreaking Read more
Great customer service every staff member up front were sweet and courteous but poor quality when it comes to the food. I paid... $22 and change for large rib platter to get 5 bones( 2 of which were dried out and tough and the other 3 looked like this ??)almost no meat on the bone. DONT EVEN STOP! STAY ON I-10!!!! Took an hour and a half to get our food. Food was cold. Waitress (Rebecca R.) did not check on... us got the order completely wrong and appeared to be under the influence of something. Brought food out and chose to go on breakinstead of bringing out silverware. Manager apologized and offered 50% off bill but began to start giving excuses upon excusesabout how hard it is to get help etc. Told him I saw 7 to go orders go out while we waited and excuses are a cop out. Mngr thencomped the entire bill and simply apologized. Food wasn?t even worth being comped for. Been here before without issues butdefinitely not coming back and suggest you don?t dine here!
