We used Bistro Catering for a 10 person catered lunch for my wedding day. It was the best meal we had our entire week in Jackson... Hole and that is saying a lot. Everyone was super pleased with our choices, and I especially loved the appetizers and how theywere distributed. Christine and Jen were wonderful to work with and super flexible to our choices/needs. Our Jackson Hole wedding planner shared that, "if you... want the best, most refined catering company for your friends and family on your wedding day, go with Bistro Catering." Afterresearching many catering companies, we realized that Bistro does, indeed, offer some of the best food (elk entrees!) andservice in Jackson Hole. Further, Jen Givens, Director of Catering & Events, was a delight to work with. She helped us pick outour menu, patiently and enthusiastically answered our (many) questions, and coordinated with our wedding vendors. Over thecourse of the pandemic, when we had to postpone and reimagine our wedding, Bistro Catering and the Fine Dining Restaurant Groupgraciously gave us flexibility throughout the pandemic. My husband and I chose Bistro to cater our wedding on August 10th, 2019 at Trail Creek Ranch. The food and service exceeded our... expectation (meeting their goal listed in the website). It started with a tasting from a list of amazing choices and ended withmany, many happy guests. Jen Givens is a dream to work with and managed each detail of the menu with care and with class. I amso grateful to Christine and the team for taking such good care of us and our guests the day of, making it a truly memorableexperience for all. Our initial contact was very positive because Meredith, the catering manager returned my call quickly. We were beginning the... planning by the time the others responded. My vision was "modern Tex Mex BBQ" and she was immediately onboard with ideas andrecommendations to enhance my original thoughts.I was so pleased that JHFD was open to suggestions and tweaking the variousdishes. I felt like this menu covered a wide variety of flavors and was personalized to our tastes and needs. We started theevent with 3 passed appetizers (Spice Rubbed Shrimp, Smoked Gouda & Caramelized Onion Quesadilla and Elk Egg Rolls), which werelight enough to not spoil appetites for the main course but a lovely way to begin the dinner. The main course was a buffet ofAsian pork ribs, Grilled Flank Steak Skewers and Marinated Chicken Skewers with 3 dipping sauces, Orzo Vegetable Basil Salad,Chipotle Cream Potato Salad, Heirloom Tomato, Corn and Black Bean Salad, Sweet Potato Biscuit and Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread.With a wide range of ages at a family reunion, there was something for everyone. (Are you hungry yet?) In addition to theregular drink offerings, we decided on having a beer tasting since JHFD has a brewery operation. We choose their 3 top sellingbeers and the family...especially the millennials, loved the tasting.They had them labeled and served in a way that guests couldcompare and contrast the flavors. The dinner was amazing, delicious and a great success! We were celebrating a birthday so wehad our own cakes but in the future, I will definitely have JHFD provide the dessert. (Already planning a dinner for when wereturn during the holidays.) The set up, service and clean up was very professional and detailed. We had the pleasure of working with Bistro Catering for our August 2021 wedding and could not be happier! Jen was such a delight... to work with as she helped us navigate through their impressive and customizable food options. At the tasting, we fell in lovewith quite literally every dish we had. Being Chicago foodies, we knew right away we made the right decision! We had to postponeour wedding due to the pandemic but Jen was incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout the entire process. Fastforward to the official wedding and it was all perfect. Her staff had to work through a massive storm in the middle of an openfield and somehow managed to protect each plate of food from a single droplet of water. The presentation was beautiful andpeople are STILL raving about their entrees (especially that pasta!!), the breads, the meats, the key lime tarts, and theservice. Everything was outstanding. If you are looking for not only delicious food, but incredible service look no further thanBistro Catering.
