I thought waffle house was a 24 hour establishment. We got off work at 2. Got there about 230. There were at least4 customers... waiting. The cook cooked our food but forgot one of our steaks. They didn't have utensils. We wanted to sit in there and eat buthe made our food to go bcuz of no utensils. Read more
Customer service was good. Food was luke warm and would have enjoyed it more if it was hot. Toast was cold and margarine did not... melt. Enjoyed it anyway. Read more
Very rude employee and such a bad experience. I know everyone has bad days due to many things but it is never an excuse to be... completely rude or should I say totally disrespectful as this young lady was. We were from out of town and had been at hospitalwith my sister for heart cath ...unable to eat all day due to procedures. My sister still had her admission sticker on her chestand wrist bands from hospital on...When we finally got discharged we were looking for a place to use the restroom and sit downand enjoy a meal before long drive home. Upon entering this establishment ..my sister was already headed towards rest roomlocated to the right of entrance door when this person hollered out...we're not taking any dine ins...so my sister was alreadyat bathroom door so I told her to go on but I wasn't looking for somewhere to do a to go order or I would have stopped atMcDonald's drive thru orr any other fast food places literally within throwing distance of the waffle house....so I decided tolook for somewhere else that we could dine in at....which by the way ended up being Catfish Galley. Anyway as we were exiting toleave that very rude disrespectful voice said and bathrooms are for customers only....at which point I lost all composure due tohow completely obnoxious she was and told her quickly that we would have been paying customers had she had not said no dine ins along with a few other things that were just as rude and disrespectful as she was. Let me say I am not proud that I let someoneget me to that point but I can promise you I treat people as I am treated. I am as easy going as it gets but can and will goghetto if someone goes there first...and yes I said ghetto because that's exactly how she acted. This just transpired on08/04/2022. So as of this morning I called and asked if I could speak to the manager regarding the situation. Since a young teen, I have always liked the food selection and taste of Waffle House(s). There is something still promising... about having your food literally cooked the way you want. So to the grill master...KODOS!! Truthfully the service at thislocation needs to be a bit more attentive to wake-up this spot. But in evening the playing field, they had some new faces behindcounter... nothing time and training can't turnabout! So eat here again?? Yes, already done it. Read more
The waffle house is not what it used to be. What happens to the great service and people. We used to stop at the waffle House up... and down the interstate. The waffle was good but stop setting the plastic butter cup on top of the waffle, the sausage was goodbut the eggs were over cooked hope you can do better the next time with love a customer. 5 crew visible. Only one wearing mask properly is cook. One waitress didn't even have one. One person standing at the register... eating sausage from a plate. She was playing the $$. Never washer hands, but then never touched anything but $ and sausage.Waitress took cap'cino from cabinet took drink and placed on stand with utensils. No hand wash after drinking. Tea glass stayedempty, did get refill on coffee. With the exception of sausage girl, everyone was friendly and smiling. Food tasted as good asit looks!! Waffle House is very straightforward in what they offer, freshly cooked food. The biscuits and gravy, waffles and eggs are good.... You have to go at the right time. You may not get a seat. It?s also very interesting to see who walks through that door.Sometimes the crowd looks like the just paroled, but that?s the fun part! Read more
For being a waffle House in the city where the founder is from, this was disappointing. The food was subpar except for the... waffle itself which was actually okay. The waitress forgot that I was supposed to get a waffle and then forgot to bring mycoffee and for whatever reason they have decided to go to Hunt's brand jelly which is absolutely horrid. I never thought I wouldactually go to a waffle House and find a 60-year-old white lady working in there with a fake grill in her mouth.
