Incredible food! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had (pictured: chicken fajitas) and the portions are generous. The... chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Nice decor and great service as well! I ordered the Chile Verde. Food was hot and fresh. The only reason 4 stars was because the Verde sauce was just poured on top of... the pork. I will definitely be back. Great service Read more
The food was amazing!! The best I have had all over Jackson TN and surrounding areas! The service was excellent and the food was... fast to be served to us ... I really liked this place. The decor and paintings were great looking all hand painted. The bathrooms were decently clean even... though the place obviously got alot of foot traffic. The food was above par. The only reason I did not give this place 5/5 starswas because of two reasons. 1. The waitor wasn't the friendliest and was somewhat dismissive as if they had something better todo than to serve us or answer questions like we were supposed to know exactly how dishes were prepared made and served. He alsonever offered a booster seat or child seat when our kiddo was clearly having issues reaching food without having to stand in thechair (so of course he was being rambunctious because he got to stand and eat which added difficulty for us to eat and enjoy ourmeal. 2. When paying and leaving a tip the automatic tip total suggestion started too high. I don't know why places suggest astarting tip at 25%. Yes I understand the waiting staff may work for less than minimum wage and work off of tips, but that is ahighly flawed system and should be abolished. The restaurant can and should pay these person's living wage and tips should be asurplus for exceptional service NOT an obligation of a patron. Making 20% off of a $65 bill for getting us water and some chipsand walking 20 feet with our food to our table is beyond me. I wish I could make so much for doing to little in such a shorttime. You may call me cheap but the reality is there and if you have been a bar tender (who just opens bottle or can) or waiteryou know this to be truth as well. That being said... I did tip but not the recommended 20%. Only because I figured that thesystem has yet to be fixed. Read more
