I eat McAlister's frequently, but this was the first time I had eaten at our local restaurant recently. Unfortunately, I had the... worst grilled chicken club I have ever had at a McAlister's, and it is what I eat most of the time. The sandwich had almost noflavor. Apparently, whoever prepared it forgot to put any honey mustard on it at all. Not even the bacon had much flavor. Onlythe pickle and potato salad were good. Had the service not been slow, I would have asked for a replacement since we were diningin. I?ve visited other McAlister?s delis, and always enjoyed them, so when I visited a friend in Jackson, I thought I should try... them again. When we got in around 11:30am, there was a line of about 5 people ahead of us, and it took quite a while to get upto order, as only one person was taking orders. They were also slowing it down by having to fill the drink orders at the sametime. This could be easily fixed if they had the soda and teas where customers could help themselves. It also seemed likethey tried to fill every glass with as much ice as possible, so you wouldn?t get much of an actual drink, just mostly ice. After our order was in, it took about 20 minutes to get our food, which was just way too long for a fast casual restaurant. There is actually no way you can say fast casual, but more like slow casual. Anyway, the food was ok, and had good flavor. Ihad their signature club, while my friend had the King Club, which had double the meat. The bread on my club seemed like itwas smashed and super thin, which you may be able to tell from the attached pic. My friend?s King club did not have the sameissue. It was much more a meal for sure. I had potato salad as my side which was good, though maybe just a bit too much mayo. So food not bad overall, but just way too much of a wait. Perhaps ordering through the app about 30 minutes before you getthere would work to not have to wait? Oh, the line only got longer as time went on, and there were at least 8 people waitingafter they had ordered, for to go orders. Maybe coke at a non busy time and you?ll have a better experience. This is an absolutely wonderful ???? place to eat! As soon as you walk through the doors the friendly staff welcomes you, and... patiently waits until you are ready to order! The potatoes are phenomenal and their sandwiches are scrumptious ????! I have yetto try their salads but when I do I'll be sure to update y'all on it!! Definitely recommend!!! Read more

Orange Cranberry Club as well as the Potato Salad were pretty decent, not worth a 30 minute line containing only about 3 people.... Sweet Tea isn't anything better than anywhere else. Also the lobby was scattered with random unlabeled bottles, brooms and thelike. It was clean however and for the most part had a nice quiet setting. Also a great patio spot outside to enjoy on dayswhere the weather permits. Read more
