Just left here. I call order in at 7:30. They tell me 20 mins. I arrive 10 minutes early. I?m second in line. It was about a 5... minute wait. I?m saying all this to say my food was already ready. By the time he gets to me Food was lukewarm. Than I was given4 baby pieces of ox tail on a large plate. I asked him about it he said it was as right. For $26 the portion sizes could havebeen better. The food was so delicious, and the customer service was excellent!! I was visiting for the weekend and wanted some different but... good food. I found this gem. I called ahead of time to order the fish, which came with two sides, and I added the vegetableswith shrimp. The place is clean and has a great smell, and I noticed they serve food buffet-style. They have enough seating forfamilies, but parking is a little tight. I plan to visit again soon when I come down for my college homecoming. Read more
Easily some of the best Jamaican and African cuisine i?ve ever had. Having visited Jamaica and experiencing the local authentic... dishes, I can tell you this place serves it as close as possible to what you what you find back in Jamaica. Jamaican & African Restaurant is one of those local finds, where the kindness toward the patrons and the passion for their foodis absolutely wonderful.
