This is the highest rated BBQ joint in the area and it's pretty good. The menu is pretty big, but it's mostly variations of a... few core items. It's a great way to run a shop like this. The Slaw Dog was great. The hot dog was beef and tasted great. I gotmine with onions and mustard and I loved it. The BBQ plate was good too. The pork was really good smoked pork. It had a nicesmoke ring and good bark. There wasn't any rub on it, which was actually pretty nice. It paired great with the hot BBQsauce. They use quite a bit of store bought items, like the potato salad, doctored beans, no bake cheesecake, but it doesn'tmatter. It's not a pretentious BBQ shop. It's just good food you want to eat. Not sure if all of my fellow Truckers are paying attention, but all of the chain restaurants are trying to capitalize on the... market and push that processed garbage down our throats...so I thought I would share with you all a gem of a spot you will neverforget... I-40, exit 87 is where you will find this BBQ happening spot, where you have to choose which is the best, the food orthe service, because both are out of this world...I have been coming here for years, and I have never been disappointed... takea look at what 50 bucks will get you; a half rack of ribs, a pound of brisket and fixins... you have to supply your own pillow,which is where you're going after eating a little bit of this... Josh watson and Tim two nice guys very friendly. They recommend the sauce and it's A-1 gotta try that. The foods great... definitely recommend it. Pluse it's a good place for truckers to over night park. And there is a loves across the street. Read more
