We stopped in here on a Saturday because the in-laws suggested it. Aside from the HAIR fried into the tomato breading, it was... really just ok at best. We tried the fried mushrooms, fried green tomatoes, steak sandwich, side salad and a Bloody Mary. Nothing was great. The salad was really not good. Some of the lettuce and all tomato was rotten and slimy and it had obviouslybeen made much earlier as the shredded cheese was hard on top of the salad. The mushrooms were ok-breading was flavorless andsoggy but they were large and there were a lot of them. The Bloody Mary was so sweet, just weird. The French fries were alsonot crispy but were probably the best part of the meal. Service was ok. Overall, it seemed like they had a lot of good ideason the menu but it was just poorly executed and mostly tasteless. Sort of reminded me of going to an Applebees but with lessquality control. I probably won?t try it again as this is the second chance I gave them. I wish it was still the old ColonialHouse where they always had excellent food. Read more
Excellent restaurant in Jackson Ohio. Eclectic but unique atmosphere and super friendly staff. The drink selection is good,... especially with a brewery being next door. The food was excellent. The salads were absolutely amazing. The sweet potato frieswere some of the best I've ever had. The burgers were really good as well. HIGHLY Recommended! Read more
Not only was the Smokehouse Burger fantastic, but they have Pepsi too. My favorite!! This will be my go to place in Jackson now.... I want to try the Walleye and several other items they have on the menu. Read more

Stopped here to eat part way through a 12 hour drive. Waitress was sweet and attentive. My salmon salad was good. No complaints... there. Husbands lunch was a different story. He asked for no mayo and tomato. After it came it wasn't correct but since hewasn't feeling that hungry he just took the bottom bun off to eat the burger bacon and top bun. Having asked for medium well itwas quick to see it was dry and very over cooked. Jacey I believe her name was offered to get him a new one or one to go butwith such a long drive he decline. She felt bad but she definitely had no reason to. Fries cold and blah. We should have sent itback and complained to the cook but we were exhausted and just wanted to go. Our family enjoyed a delicious meal tonight at Arch and Eddie?s while traveling from IL to NC. We enjoyed the gorgeous patio... outside and a beer from sixth sense while we waited on our table. Atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Staff was friendly andhelpful at both places. Our family enjoyed the shrimp, cheeseburger, Cobb salad, and a chicken sandwich. We all agreed it wasthe best we?ve had anywhere! Unique dining experience with delicious food and great drink choices. Highly recommend! Read more
We're from out of town and needed a place to eat off of 32. Seemed to be a town favorite. The wait staff was super great. There... was a hair brush and cleaning products on the fireplace next to my seat. ...ok someone forgot. The mushrooms were great and areserved with ranch and cocktail sauce depending on ur palette. We got the specials. Sirloin with horseradish butter , scallopedpotatoes and broccoli. My bf got the stuffed salmon and fetticini. I always say dont order a steak if its not a steak place. Ohwell. It was chewy. But the seasoning and butter would have been great on a good cut ok f meat. I tried his salmon and pasta .It was good. Im sure if we were regulars we would return and find the best dishes. The waitress was so great, id definately goback. Id take the mushrooms again too. Read more
