The new owners have lost the great community vibe this place had. They discontinued the dozen bagel card (buy 10 get 1 free)... and other promotions. They have removed the color from the walls. The place has no style or warmth to it. Everything is basicwhite. Bare walls etc.. The bagel sandwiches aren't as "belly busting" as they used to be. Sad that the old owners sold. Recently visited again and the bagels are now smaller than store bought bagels. The taste is not that of which it used to be. The sandwich I got was sad and prices have gone up. Not coming back. The counter staff doesn't really know what's going onwith a few kids running the register. Read more
This used to be the best bagel place. I would drive 45 minutes to buy their bagels. Not anymore. Must be new owners and new... cooks. Their bagels are often burnt, never the same size, and don?t taste the same. The inside of the business looks terribleas well. Such a shame. There?s a better bagel place down the road a bit. Great staff, very friendly! But for a place that emphasizes waffles, the waffles tasted poisonous! I don?t know if it was the... blueberries or that waffle griddle hasn?t been cleaned in months, but the waffles were straight dookie! I?ll go back maybe andtry an omelette once I recover from the bouts of violent diarrhea I?ve had since ingesting that waffle. I?m glad I?m finallyoff my stool softener but this is not the way!
